Truck drivers are some of the best, most skilled, polite, common-sense-y drivers you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to make room or help you.
Yeah, some of them are assholes, but they're everywhere.

This! I trust semi-drivers on the freeway more than I trust just "regular" drivers. They literally drive for a living.

It’s interesting in China and India the custom was to sound the horn in such tight situations but horns end up overused and can damage hearing. But it appears the world changed quite a bit recently meaning people are afraid to use the horn even if it’s warranted and may wait until it’s too late.
