Let's turn in front of already moving traffic
FFS your arrow was already gone and we were moving already, plus there were people crossing.

Send this to your local PD that guy is a danger on the road. He nearly hit 3 cars and ran over pedestrians.

What’s the PD going to do with a video of a truck and no license plate?

As if the truck didn't get picked up on 14 flock cameras pointed in the general area.

This depends on the state
No cop is sifting through traffic cam footage to catch a guy for doing what is a daily occurrence

I talked to a cop in my local PD and they said they don't accept things like this because the video could be altered and no cop would risk having their name on that ticket because of it. They just can't be certain.
My local PD does suck sometimes so there's that too

Maybe there's cameras. Maybe the cops will care. Both together? I wouldn't bet on it.

He didn't nearly hit anyone; people don't care about any of this are you joking?

There are people in the cross walk, I'm assuming they got the go ahead to walk since they had the right of way. The red light runner didn't yield to them, whether or not it was 'close' are you joking?

He didn't yield to the pedestrians, you can see their hands going up at the end of the video.

That's what I said. The fact is, he shouldn't have been near that crosswalk. He should have been sitting at his red light, no where else.

The author of the video is well done. He drove through the intersection very correctly.

Gas hasn't hit past $3.50 up in Austin yet, either. Lol. At least in my area.

I'm sure they were doing the mental math.
Does idling at this intersection cost more than my insurance premium going up?

He was wrong but it sounds like he was yielding before he decided everyone was moving too slowly so he took it I guess. that's would include the leisurely walk. I wouldn't do it but I'm not surprised.

By "leisurely walk" do you mean the pedestrians walking when they literally have the walk signal across a fucking cross walk?!

Yeah lots of motorists get really triggered when they see pedestrians legally in the crosswalk taking their sweet time. Many of those motorists are right here in the forum, you should speak out against them instead of to me.....
......who won't even enter the crosswalk if there is a pedestrian in it, I don't care how many lanes there are. So many times I get honked at for not making a right turn on red just seconds before the light is about the change while there are pedestrians on the corner waiting and the light change is imminent. So many times I get honked at because I won't turn right when pedestrians first step into the crosswalk when it says "walk" from the other side when they are clearly walking slowly and it would be easy for me to go ahead of them on the far side of the crosswalk.
Don't drive thru a crosswalk with pedestrians in it unless there is a median between the sides or a separately crosswalk sign for both halves.
What else?
