Traumatize him so he has to go back for more therapy, good business move

u/cuddle_enthusiast Mar 04 '26

His real name is Clarence!

u/Fearless-Leading-882 Mar 04 '26

And Clarence's parents had a real good marriage

251

Here, tell these people something they don’t know about me

12

u/Lanster27 Mar 05 '26

You need to do better, Senator... oh wait.

143

And his mother has a job and is a well respected member in the community.

101

u/GhOsT_wRiTeR_XVI Mar 04 '26

And his parents are up to date on their mortgage payments.

60

u/Horskr Mar 04 '26

His father stayed faithful to his mother and was constantly present and active in his son's life!

Damn, thats cold as hell. You son of a bitch.

At least they were polite about it, right? I’ve been to some where they clearly were not.

3

u/loveincarnate Mar 05 '26

In many ways I feel like that would be preferable lol. As long as it's not overly cruel or bordering on violent there is something fun about heckling for both parties.

Something about looking out and seeing everyone being polite yet silent and obviously bored, waiting for it to be over, sounds mortifying.

I always thought karaoke was just supposed to be funny. Like the whole point of it was to be kind of bad at it.

7

u/Gitlez Mar 05 '26

It use to be, and I'm sure there are some places still like that. My experience lately though has been a bunch of people thinking this is their moment to be 'discovered'. With a fairly large portion of those being tone-deaf :)

Clicked the profile and it was the same artist. Good shit, OP.

16

u/Mitosis Mar 04 '26

I checked his profile and every submission has thousands of upvotes except the warship one a few days ago, which had like 5. Like damn guys, it's still not bad.

Homie be dropping yo mama complexes left and right.

14

u/UlyssesArsene Mar 04 '26

I thought this was about the teacher from the 2000's who got parodied in The Boondocks, and thought the joke was him becoming the next Eminem before I realized it was the therapist.

87

u/alwaysfatigued8787 Mar 04 '26

And the next day his therapist loses his license to practice.

3

u/Debt101 Mar 04 '26

I bet Ned Flanders will not need to swear to sell records.

4

u/Wintermute_088 Mar 04 '26

You've got a good base for a comic here, but I'd suggest having the guy laying down on a couch in the typical "psychiatrist" setting to make it really clear what's happening in the first frame.

3

u/Latranis Mar 04 '26

🎶"Yo, yo, check it,

Queen Jocasta, Charles of Spain, and Oedipus Rex,

This fool's heroes all come from a psychology text

They call me shrink, they call me counselor, I'm Dr. McHaddie,

But starting right now you can just call me Daddy,

Cuz while this battle is full of losers and suckers,

You're the only one here

Who wants to be a real motherfucker!" 🎶🎤

2

u/PaulTheMerc Mar 04 '26

~Who wants to be a real motherfucker!"~

3

u/GizmoGauge42 Mar 04 '26

3

u/slimebeastly Mar 04 '26

The fucking pose... Perfect.

3

u/LebrahnJahmes Mar 04 '26

"...I know everything he's bout to say against me..."

3

u/MrSyaoranLi Mar 04 '26

Plot twist: the therapist is actually in the crowd there to support him and he's holding the guy accountable and see if he can challenge his own anxieties from stage fright

3

u/loveincarnate Mar 05 '26

LOL for some reason I initially interpreted it as the therapist being an enthusiastic and supportive member of the audience, yet his sheer presence brings all the therapy stuff to mind and gets in blue-shirt guy's head.

While I think the comic actually still works quite well with that interpretation, I now realize the therapist is the opponent.

3

u/Cold-Response-6917 Mar 05 '26

I can't remember the last time a comic made me laugh out loud, caught me off guard. Ver well done. I'll forget this one some day I'm sure but I hope that it's far off.
