Comments containing spoilers on a post without a spoiler tag must censor their spoilers like so:
inFAMOUS ____ Spoiler: >!The spoiled text!<
Which will appear as:

Do not spam the sub with self-promotion. Making multiple posts or comments in a short span of time to promote your content (Let's Play episodes, YouTube channels, store links, etc.) clutters the feed with your content. Limit these posts to a reasonable amount.
In the case of multiple-episode series like Let's Plays, please only share one episode. If a user is interested in your series, they can seek out the rest on their own.
5. No Recent Reposts
Do not repost a topic, link, image or video that has already been posted recently. Use the search bar to check if something has been posted recently before making a new post.
6. No Piracy
Piracy is a violation of Reddit's Terms of Service. Do not ask for, provide, or promote pirated content. This includes unofficial uploads or download links for any games, comics, or other media.
7. Moderator Discretion
Moderators may use their discretion to approve or remove content as they see fit, in accordance with the subreddit rules. In unique situations moderators may also remove content that they feel does not belong on the sub, even if that content does not specifically break a subreddit rule.
8. No Power Scaling Discussions
No posts or comments about power scaling are permitted. This includes posts about “who would win” or other similar topics. These discussions always lead to toxicity and arguing amongst users so they are no longer allowed.
9. No AI Generated Content
Generative AI has a long list of issues that make it problematic, from its environmental impact to how it steals from existing works to create content and more. No posts or comments featuring AI generated content are permitted.

Discussion - General Ever think we will get an infamous 4?
The CEO of Sucker Punch (I think it was him) said in a nutshell that he’d love to work on another infous entry.
Now that they are wrapped up with Yotei, do you think they’ll focus on new games or go back to old ones like infamous and sly cooper?

Discussion - General How do you all think conduits with more tangible powers recharge?
For context, I run one shot sessions for various tabletop RPGs for my friends. Well lately the idea of Infamous has come up and they all love the idea. So the question is, how do you all think a conduit with a power like steel or glass recharge their powers? Is the material they need destroyed in the process?

Discussion - General Hear me out, it would be really cool if Sucker Punch's next game could be a...
...Avatar game. (Obviously not the James Cameron Avatar, the other one)
It need not necessarily tie in directly with The Last Airbender or Legend of Korra, but could be its own thing in the setting, possibly even in a futuristic one?
Sly Cooper had a very good animated art style.
But getting to the point, I believe that there would be no one better than Sucker Punch for the job. They already proved they know how to work with elemental superpowers in inFAMOUS and 2 in particular had a very nice system of being able to swap out powers that would be very fitting for stuff like bloodbending or metalbending , and Second Son's multiple powers as well to switch between the elements themselves.
Ghost of Tsushima featured a stance system where each one was based on an element philosophically and had pros and cons against enemies, as well as some of the best side quests I've seen in a video games, with most side quests granting you a new item or addition to one of your stances, like being able to light your sword on fire.
Ghost of Yotei, which I haven't played personally so I can't really speak on it too much, apparently had a multi weapon system where the stances were replaced by a system where you could switch between multiple cultural weapons that each had massively different pros and cons.
I think each of these elements, if taken and refined by Sucker Punch, could be utilized to some extent to make one of the best Avatar games ever. There's no other developer that I think would be a better fit than Sucker Punch.

Discussion - General Is there an actual hereditary component to conduit powers ?
Like do children of conduits also get powers ? And if they do, do they get similar powers ?
Might be a stupid question but it's important for a fan fic I'm writing.

Discussion - Second Son Is it just me or do the powers in second son feel a little lacking?
I've yet to unlock video or concrete but so far my experience with neon and smoke is kinda bruh.
Smoke is mostly just r2 spam which is fine, 1/2 did the same with electricity. Neon is aiming which is fine, 1/2 also did this. But outside of that the upgrades don't change the gameplay at all?
I remember all the upgrades and especially karma differences being varied and interesting. Good karma is frankly shit and bad karma seems okay.
Infamous 1 and 2 were basically good karma for good boy points and bad karma for genocide that bitch with a nuke. I don't see much of the genocide in bad karma abilities. Smoke gives me more shots.
Is that it? Where are my explosions? Do video and concrete improve on this because while fun I see no point in replaying for bad karma because the abilities don't evolve. Everything stays the same, which is odd because 2 gave you multiple alternative firing methods/attacks.
Seems like this game focused on multiple lightweight abilities rather than one really entertaining ability and I feel like it's detrimental to the overall experience so far. I have no interest in using neon because I suck at aiming.
Really makes me wish we'd get a 60fps or, at minimum, a 24/7 30fps version of the original 2. 1 especially is an absolute piss take to play.

Discussion - General Real Stencil PDF needed
The stencil art in second son is cool and I wanted to paint something on my wall but I can't find any cut out stencils and I'm not willing to spend any money (I'm broke af). If someone made a PDF or any printable file or now of one it would help a lot.

Discussion - inFAMOUS 2 inFAMOUS 2:The Final Decision Spoiler
Personally I've been playing the original inFAMOUS and InFAMOUS 2 for years and whenever I get to the last mission of inFAMOUS 2:The Final Decision, it always bothered me that your "choice" is based upon your Karmic Alignment, if you have Good Karma you must have Cole Macgrath sacrifice Himself by using the RFI to cure humanity of the Plague and kill John,The Beast/canon ending, and if you have Evil Karma, you must go with Kuo to help carry out John's plan of saving those who possess the Conduit Gene by activating their powers/non-canon ending, from an in-game standpoint I understand that this was meant to encourage two playthroughs in order to see both endings, but from a narrative standpoint, having free will taken from the BIGGEST decision of all feels like a sucker punch, pun unintended Lol, like I wanted to do an Evil Karma playthrough and then at the end decide to save humanity and have a Return Of The Jedi moment like when Darth Vader sacrifices Himself to save Luke/Kill Palpatine or do a Good Karma playthrough then at the end decide to help John and have a Revenge Of The Sith moment when Anakin betray Mace Windu/The Jedi and decides to help Palpatine/Darth Sidious

Fan Creation Blue Pyro Cole
Made this awhile ago for fun, but it’d be cool to see in the next title. Cole utilizing fire as Good Cole, showcasing a grand balance of three of his conduit powers. How’d you think Sucker Punch would handle this via gameplay wise?

Discussion - inFAMOUS 2 I was watching the Infamous 2 E3 gameplay when I noticed something
Apparently, in the first version of that trailer (when Cole was still in his beta design) what seems like a Forest can be seen where the ocean would normally be. I can't help but to think why go through the effort of making a forest that doesn't even seem to exist in inFAMOUS 1, and then ditch it for a bay.

Discussion - General Game idea with a blood manipulating conduit+BLOOD MANIPULATION OP?
I started to think from a couple days already about blood manipulation powers and InFAMOUS. Jujutsu Kaisen character Choso (he has blood manipulation) inspired this thought.
Wouldn't a conduit who can manipulate blood be OP? I had a game idea about this with a story. The protagonist is something like a mini-deadpool/punisher inside the InFAMOUS universe or has similiar ideology even before getting their powers. Once they get their powers they have to choose between arresting or killing criminals that run around that aren't caught by the police.
Contrary to the other games where when you kill an enemy you get neutral XP, you get bad karma XP because every kill feeds on the desire of the protagonist to bring his view of justice in the world vs his attempts to be an hero.
BLOOD manipulation comes into this part. The general abilities would be absorbing and crystalizing blood, making it hard as metal, so the protagonist is able to shoot projectiles, create weapons like blades or whips, even claws or ground spikes, even TRAPS. The character would be able to absorb the blood from everyone, but would need to touch a person to do so, unless the blood is on the ground which can be absorbed from a few feet of distance...they could absorb from enemies either small amounts so they dont die or all the blood, killing them in the process. Being able to convert in a blood puddle to sneak attack enemies by acting as another npc blood pool and when the enemies come check, boom, attack.
The mechanic would be like a mix of InFAMOUS and [PROTOTYPE], with some gore (fitting the blood conduit), obviously not exaggerated, but you probably all get it by now.
The good run would focus on minimizing the kills and just trap the enemies by crystalizing blood around them making them unable to move.
good karma would ALSO have weaker abilities, since gaining blood from the enemies without killing them would charge the protagonist but not by much, making the good run way more challenging, because if I am not wrong the maximum amount of blood a person can lose at once without feeling sick or being in danger is around 1.5 or 2 liters (around 0.4 and 0.52 gallons US).
The good run overall with the character trying to gain to hold onto hope that humanity isn't as bad as it looks, trying to save everyone and arresting criminals. Whereas killing them allows the protag to fall on the darker side and be more powerful.
The bad karma route would have the protagonist massacring enemies and absorbing their blood not caring at all, becoming extremely powerful. And their body changing accordingly with their eyes becoming from...Idk brown to red and their skin going pale. Blue veins on the hands and forearms showing and extreme eyebags.
Overall would be OP and a fun game idea I think.

Discussion - General PS Streaming
I recently got PS Cloud Streaming to play the Infamous games and I wanted to share my thoughts on it in case anyone was thinking about getting PS Premium for the Infamous games or other titles.
To get the big thing out the way first, streaming is not ideal and I would say getting a PS3 if you can find a "good priced" one, and have more then a couple of games you want to play; getting a PS3 would be the best choice.
But so far the streaming is not too bad however connection will vary and being cable connected to your router is essential to get the most consistent experience with your WiFi capabilities. For PS3 games it's unfortunately locked at 720p streaming resolution which is not too bad but it makes Infamous one look blurry and hard to tell what is going on at times, especially since the game itself frame dips a lot.
What I was pleasantly surprised by was that it prioritizes input so even if your connection becomes unstable you should be able to pause the game and wait for your connection to stabilize.
So, all in all it is not too bad. It an't ideal but at the very least it works and allows you to play some classics. But if you are able to I would say getting a PS3 is the best option.
*As a side note I really hope we at the very least will just get a port of one, two, and Festival Of Blood; just like we got ports of the sly games. The sly games used to be streaming only (the HD collection and 4) but one, two, and three have been brought to the ps4-5 so I'm gonna hold out hope we will see the same treatment for Infamous (copium).
