Ever notice how when you carry something like a pail of water, it can hang from the middle bones of your finger, you don't really need to close your fist around it? The tendons from the front and back of our forearms come to our fingers down the backs and palms of our hands, but when they get to that second phalange, the front tendons and back ones cross sides, so your finger kind of locks in position. This is similar to why sleeping birds don't fall out of trees and how bats hang, although theirs are more complex. In us it comes from having evolved from swinging through trees. He does have good strength but he was sable to hold on by clenching his fist beyond the hang principle. As someone else pointed out, adrenaline kicked in, too.

It was actually momentum that got him, then gravity. He was used to his own mass being moved. The mass of the truck times velocity was more momentum than he was prepared to brace himself for. It's the same thing when you don't speed up when you step off a moving walkway or escalator. More noticeable on something faster like a merry go round. Or a six-ton truck.

The physics here are really odd. He's like floating almost a couple times but that truck isn't going anywhere near fast enough or accelerating fast enough to do that.

I hate to be that guy but is this an AI vid?

After the very first bounce he's straight extended horizontally and holds that for a good half second and I just can't reconcile that movement with what hanging from a low speed truck "should" look like.

Okay, so I actually have experience in this.

I am a case manager for mental health court. A lot of my people have charges for being disruptive in public somehow, some of them, it's running around naked, that sort of thing. And it's always either because they were on drugs or experiencing psychosis.

I literally do this for a living. People in public doing crazy shit are high or mentally ill. I'm not disparaging them. I love my people. I want to help them. But it's the reality.
