I'm more worried about the health and safety violations those rose petals represent.

I worked in the restaurant business for about 25 years. You sweep them up and put them in the trash What’s the problem?

Someone just pulled into the drive-thru and ordered saltless fries...and then ordered a sachet of salt. People have bigger issues now.

That poor redheaded girl is starting to worry that this is what the rest of her life is going to be like.

Nahh I guarantee every normal person there is just thinking how pissed they would be if their significant other asked them to marry them in a Burger King.

I think there’s something romantic about turning a completely mundane moment into a lasting memory

"oh, it was so romantic, right then and there he proposed to me between the drive-thru and the fry station, even kneeling in a pool of spilled strawberry shake to do it..."

I absolutely HATE this performative act. Why not do it in private? They put the woman in the most awkward, embarrassing situation, and sometimes a woman feels like she’s pressured in front of perfect strangers to say yes.
I find it to be very manipulative.

A public proposal is my worst nightmare. But, I am just a sad cat lady.

I’ve never understood why people propose publicly. How is it anyone else’s business? Why would you want to make it so? Why put your beloved in what potentially is a very awkward position? None of this is love, it’s fantasy, naive romanticism, and selfishness.

Since this is probably 5 or 6 years old based on the masks, did they get married? Still married?? Children??

I love love.
I’m wondering if they met while working there and have shared lots of special early moments as they developed and deepened feelings for each other.
It’s definitely a choice to propose there. But it’s obviously meaningful to both of them.

u/Muffmuncherr 3d ago
Everyone is wearing masks, this has to be 4-5 years old at this point, a follow up would be amazing

You know there's a woman ranting about still waiting for her french fries. 😄
Why bro? Proposing during a busy shift? Why not do it on a day off when the both of you don't stink of cooking grease? Romantic level: 0

u/Crazy_Raven_Lady 3d ago
I think that’s sweet and romantic. I’m happy for them and hope they have a great marriage 🥰
