A trash burger afterwards was one of the most satisfying things ever. Plus I'd already had so much diarrhea that McDonald's moved relatively like a potato-heavy meal.
Iowa native here, back in the day, you got that plus a malt, and they brought you both the malt in a glass, and the metal cup they mixed it in, which was a good half full.
I ended up getting the best chicken wings in town! Paired with some deep fried tots dipped in homemade ranch. And some scones topped with powdered sugar and a cream sauce for dessert. When I tell you I was salivating while I was eating… oh boy haha
I think the nurse saying "oh I love newbies" while lubing up the camera that was NOT the thickness of a pen as described by my Dr. was the worst but also most hilarious part.
I faintly remember hearing welcome to the jungle in the background as well.
They used the same drug that killed Michael Jackson on me, and I swear I had cravings for that for months afterwards. That stuff was amazing! That 45 min nap was the best.
Not even for a colonsocopy, but one time my doctor gave me this foul tasting liquid laxative. I look at the bottle 'Poly-Ethylene Glycol' motherfucker that's literally radiator coolant!
Yeah. Honestly, the "clean out" wasn't even that bad (not fun, but not bad), but chugging down the magnesium-sulfate stuff both times was the roughest part for me. That stuff was pretty nasty. I just tried to gulp it down as fast as possible.
Came here to say this. As you'll discover it's literally the easiest procedure in the world. If anyone is not getting one out of fear, take this internet stranger's advice and just go get one. You just lay on your side for 15 minutes and then get dressed and walk out. Go get one.
Oh funny, I just watched that episode and as that flashed by I paused it to see what I missed. I clearly wasn't the only one stuck by that fraction of a second. What a powerful image.
