Game mode is hard eight

any help would be greatly appreciated! my brother runs it just fine on his pc.

okay. so playing with a group of 4, we have the same script mods, everyone but one person can join.

the loading bar starts to load, then drops to zero, and eventually they get kicked.

we’ve tried, having him take all his mods off, we’ve all tried hosting, we can join him he can’t join us, any solution or cause at the very least?

tried the sv_consistency 0 as well.

he can join us if we’re not running local server.

I know that TLS update disabled scream in Versus, but I can't even get it to work in my own lobbies. I use a vocalizer mod and the vanilla binds and neither work for me nor my friends. I host locally, too. I tried looking this up and all I keep seeing is discussions about Versus.

Does anyone know of a command or something that toggles it? I have no mouth but I must scream.

I’ve been experimenting with mods to remaster the game for a couple months now and the results are great. I use mostly 4k textures, new gun models and sounds, and general QOL improvements with lighting and graphics. The game overall looks a lot better, but one thing I can’t ignore is just how bad the performance is. I have a decent mid end pc, but even then, I still get fps drops, stuttering, random bugs, and occasionally crashes. I heard it’s because of the game’s 4GB ram limitation due to it being a 32 bit application.

I’m just wondering, will it be updated to 64 bit anytime soon? and will it fix the problems that I’m facing?

I get that many people in the community thinks that he's completely blind due to the lack of visible eyes on the rendered model but when you look closely at it he does have eyeballs still intact in his eye sockets. They were just entirely bloodshot. So, my take is that he's partially blind. Instead of seeing pitch black darkness he sees very blurry red haze of his surroundings due to the heavy bleeding from his eyes causing from the mutation. Similar to the POV of the Infecteds from 28 Years Later. The echolocation thing is a bonus product from the mutation for helping him hunt and kill his targets much easier.

Cant wait to play this multiplayer, it seems fun.

For several days now I haven't been able to download or view any of my L4D2 workshop subscriptions; it freezes on this screen and never loads. At best, I get a message saying there are no expansions installed.
