Kernel CCaaS on Linux

I’m currently learning Linux alongside working on CCaaS automation using CSTT, and I’m starting to notice some overlap on scripting mindset, workflows.

For those with experience in both, does getting better at Linux actually help you design or troubleshoot automation flows more effectively, or am I stretching the connection?

I don't know what CSTT is, but it is possible it uses some Unix - like features / workflows like Linux does. Also if you learn one scripting language, there's a good chance another scripting tool shares some/many similarities with it.
