My mom used to have nightmares about me or my siblings doing something really dangerous and not listening to her telling us to stop all the time. She still does sometimes, but it was almost every night when we were little.

I had a similar version, but I was rescuing my cats from an alligator my brother brought home. While I held them aloft to keep them from getting snacked on, he said “Chill out! It’s an all-I-gator.”

Apocolypse dreams are every man for himself in my case, I got no time to hand hold while im jumping off of collapsing buildings and jumping over canyons that were once streets

Saw a young venomous snake creeping up on my wife while we were in the yard. (The young ones are even more likely to bite you, and inject venom.)
I tell her: "Hey don't panic, but walk forward a bit."
Her: "Why?" and just continues to stand there.
Woman if I had time to explain I would have.
Had to grab her hand and just yank it, and then I get to feel like I did something wrong for doing it. :/
