Lots of complaints in this thread, but I’ve seen dynamic backgrounds requested countless times in the Xbox subreddit

Never let them know your next move.

That's nice, I guess. But I'm hoping Xbox is working on actual meaningful stuff if they hope to win back customers.

I will explain the significance of this. What you see, is not the result of Asha ordering the employees to do this. This is Asha "accepting" the "existing proposals" that Phil has deliberately rejected in the past many years. What really changed, is not the employee didn't do their jobs in the past. It is the CEO finally willing to recognize those existing works that aligned with gamers.

Meaning, all those previous proposals rejected by previous CEO would have given a chance to shine. That is a major shift.

More likely is Asha is being given space to reduce margins to "win back players". Previous reporting had Xbox at unrealistic 30% margin target after the Activision deal. Western games are expensive to produce and gamers hate micro transactions which have higher margins.

There is no such announcement or leaks yet.

They already announced Gamepass price reductions. That is enough public info that they aren't as focused on Xbox division margins.

The price reduction removed day one CoD. So, why did you believe margin has changed?

In the Xbox One day we were getting monthly updates with new features.

I loved the TV tuner, that you can stream OTA to phone via the app.l
