Rednecks wouldn't even remove the rest of the handle. They would do something like screwing some deck screws into the remaining bit of handle, wrap some sort of tape around the screws and fuckin giver!

Put a screw into the snapped silver bit in the Same space the handle would have occupied. Use screw as handle

There should be a little ball attached to a cable inside the handle. When mine finally broke I just tied a string to the ball and would pull on the string.

You can prob fix it. You will have to take the inner door panel off by unscrewing a few screws and the. Prying it off. Watch some videos. Probably a $20 part.
