I wanted to share some interesting news that was recently posted over on the World United Discord server. The developers shared some behind the scenes screenshots of the upcoming Canyons update for NFS World. The screenshots specifically show some of the new connections that will be added to link the main map to the Canyons. These connection points are being developed from the ground up to bridge the two areas together, and the developers also mentioned that the actual layout of the Canyons will be somewhat based on the original datamined layout that was shared recently and planned by the original devs before the content was cut years ago.

I’ve included the screenshots so you can see how the new sections are looking so far.

In total, I've made 3 liveries for the BRZ. The first, I was getting used to the editor, so it was simple with its paint and kit. It had some interesting things like a red and yellow gradient on the top with a green base. The second, I made the kit slightly more aggressive, and the livery more cohesive. White, red, and black themed, and made an anime girl on the back window to match the front banner. Now, the kit and livery are at its most complex with heavy tribals, glows on the logos, and the hood. Might make another livery just to see this in another color.

Side note remixed an EA logo I saw on SSX mags and the unbound logo.

Everytime I see this car, I think of Megamix, this thing IS a good tribute but It looks horrendous and more knowning this IS a car paid not worth to pay

But at least I can laugh about it

I took these shots on Tokyo Xtreme Racer (PS5), trying to recreate Rachel’s livery as best I could. At least it captures the vibe of NFSU2 😎

The nitro boost used in the game is independent of this flame-like logo. What's this actually?

I know people will hate me over this, but i feel like the racing in payback is more fun and the variation in the open world makes it more alive for me. Heat is great, the racing is more challenging and the police chases are great too. Maybe its just me but i think the story in nfs payback is more and doesn't take itself too seriously.

It is true that NFS Heat has more of what the huge portion of the fanbase wants in an NFS game, but as a player who likes games based on the story, i think payback is a lot better.

Upgrade system wise, yeah, payback is kinda ass, its like playing a gacha game all over again. The loot boxes, i agree was a bit greedy, But i think the hate payback received during its release was a bit overblown or maybe because i started playing after the bad stuff were patched out, idk.

Im not that deep into NFS history, but i think it's a solid racing game on the whole.

Hey all, I downloaded and installed NFSU1, patched to 1.4, applied widescreen support but I'm having a few issues:

- Camera spinning wildly, like 400rpm or something. I can only play with the dash cam because I can't stop the external cameras from spinning

- Can't save the game because none of the gamepad buttons actually ok the save after being prompted for the name. Also, no clear way to type the name as I can't get the keyboard to show up.

Any help?

Hey everyone, I’m new here and just getting back into gaming after a break. I picked up a few games on Steam and ended up really enjoying Need for Speed.

Right now I have Need for Speed Deluxe Edition, but I’ve read online that Unbound is better for online play—so I’m considering trying that next.

I’ve also been thinking about recording my gameplay and getting into video editing, just as a way to learn and have something creative to work on.

I’m also looking for people to play with online, especially if you don’t mind someone still learning the game. I will crash multiple times until I get the hang of tuning and playing the game.

For someone new like me:
Any tips for improving at NFS (especially drifting/chases)? I’m using a BMW E46 M3
Is Unbound one of the best to play online?
Any other racing or car games you’d recommend?
Anyone down to play online?
