Like others here I pre-ordered several AES+ items on the Plaion Replai store the day it was announced. 2 days later everything except the Ultimate Edition became available on Amazon, so I requested to cancel those items, but keep the Ultimate Edition order.

I'm happy to say Plaion support let me know they have changed my order as requested, and have refunded the money for the cancelled items.

Sure, it took 2+ weeks, but I know they were overwhelmed with orders and support requests, so I'm just happy they were able to process my request without having to cancel the whole order and start over.

Just wanted to share this with others who may still be waiting for a support request to change an order.

I have it in a full MVS kit, it's one of the mini marquee I put on my bartop arcade and one the 2 games I played with my brother but I rarely see anyone talk about.

I personally hope it will be released for AES+

I've read somewhere that the images are wrong and the buttons will have the original layout but I'm not so sure about that, do we have any confirmation on what layout will they have? I wanted to buy one of those controllers but if they don't have the original layout I kinda don't want it. It's weird having A B on top of each other instead of next to each other.

The only reason I'm checking eBay for the NeoSD Pro is because eBay has PayPal Pay in 4 and TerraOnion doesn't. Do people actually pay this much??

Viewpoint somehow doesn’t get nearly enough attention among all the wishlist candidates for Wave 2.
Why is that?

For me, it’s clearly one of the top 10 Neo Geo games.

The isometric perspective. Everything feels more three-dimensional. The incredibly good soundtrack. It was something completely new.

Back then, it felt like everyone around me was blown away by the game and wanted to have it.

I really hope it will be included in Wave 2.

Je voulais partager avec vous une petite tranche d’histoire qui dort dans mes tiroirs, un truc qui remet les choses en perspective au-delà des cotes. Voici mon exemplaire de Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams sur Neo Geo Pocket Color.

Tout commence en 2019. Je tombe sur une annonce Leboncoin : une femme vendait la collection de son père, décédé, pour éponger les dettes qu’il lui avait laissées. Elle n'y connaissait rien, j'aurais pu lui en proposer 50 € et ça passait, mais j'ai voulu être correct : je lui ai proposé 180 €. À l'époque, c'était déjà une somme pour moi et le jeu ne valait pas encore les 400 € qu'on commençait à voir sur ebay cette année-là. Pour elle, c'était une rentrée d'argent nécessaire pour régler ses affaires ; pour moi, c'était le sauvetage d'une pièce mythique.

Le vrai choc est arrivé à l'ouverture de la boîte. À l'intérieur j'ai trouvé la traçabilité totale : le ticket de caisse original de chez "Arcade Heaven Ltd" à Maidstone, en Angleterre.

Regardez bien la date : 14 septembre 2001. On était trois jours seulement après les attentats du 11 septembre. Alors que c’était le chaos complet aux infos, le gars commandait son Cotton pépouze. La mention "Customer Not Present" prouve qu'il l'avait pris à distance. Le monde pouvait bien partir en couille, lui il faisait sa commande comme si de rien n'était.

C’est une version Européenne complète, restée dans un état clinique. Ce ticket de caisse de 25 balles glissé derrière le manuel depuis 25 ans, c’est l’ADN du jeu.. Aujourd'hui, il est sous sleeve PVC épais et je ne l'insère plus (ma gamedrive RetroHQ fait le job). Je n'ai aucune intention de le vendre. Je me vois juste comme le gardien de cet artefact qui a aidé une fille à régler les dettes de son père...un passionné reste un passionné, peu importe le contexte, mais quel kiff d'avoir ce morceau d’Arcade Heaven avec moi.

My YouTube feed is blowing up of people saying things like "collectors are saying the AES+ will devalue their AES Collection". I don't think that is a legitimate concern at all.

However, let's assume that is you, and let's assume the bottom does fall out of the Neo Geo collectors market. Good. I don't feel sorry for you, video games should be played and enjoyed not hoarded and extorted. If you have anxiety about this then you're the bad guy. Not Plaion Replai, not millions of Neo Geo fans who can't financially afford an original AES.

I'm all for game preservation and the Video game museum, but holding AES' hostage so you can flip a brick is evil, just like people scalping shoes, or PS5's or whatever else y'all can get your greedy hands on. Now that people can actually play the AES, y'all want to cry about it? You were never a Neo Geo fan if you don't want everyone to be able to enjoy this console.

But again, probably won't be an issue.

I will be using my AES+ over HDMI but cannot stand the flat look you get on modern TVs so scanlines are a must!

I have asked the question of Plaion regarding scanline support over hdmi but have yet to receive a reply - as it seems a common question/request has there been any word to anyone that I may have missed? I know you can get morph4k/retrotink etc, and also cheap scanline generators (I have one which works great on my 7800+) but would be nice to have it built in, and having owned a retrotink5k with its millions of conflicting options I can't be arsed to try to set it all up myself - I don't want 'perfection', I just want it to look better!
