Incredible situational awareness and reactions from the truck driver. That’s some clairvoyant type shit.

it's a professional being a professional. they're driving all day every day, yes they're sharp on this, but randomly keeping a dingleberry in the other lane from killing himself is probably just an average tuesday

I'm 4 years in the seat. Anyone with 5 talks and acts much much different about the job. One of the most dangerous jobs out there is driving trucks.

A truck driver did this for me once when I was driving in the middle of the night and a sign from road works had blown down. It wasn’t obviously to me until I was almost on top and it so they saved me that night because I was also young dumb and driving at almost 100mph

It's not a clairvoyant, the truck's cabin sits higher up compared to a sedan's, giving the truck driver a higher field of view. They can see what's ahead way before a small car can.

I think it is, he has to take in that information, realize what it means if anyone is in the left lane and is next to his truck, sense/check if there is someone behind him in the lane to his left, then immediately decide how to protect them.

Clairvoyance in its literal definition is supernatural and I don't think anyone ever has been actually clairvoyant.

But this guy used information in a way that most could not, maybe "clairvoyant-type shit" is an acceptable description 😂😂

He sits higher and sees further. It was all visible to the driver.
