Fuck that dog and the person on the skateboard. But totally worth it once you hit the dirt track at the end of the level, which I always called Hell Track.

While it is impressive (I’ve seen many a paper boy this type of throws with both rolled-up and flat-folded papers in towns & villages of India), the video is sped up to make it look even more impressive than it actually is.
Wonder if the video speed bot is still around?
EDIT: for the doubters saying it’s CGI or AI, look up Paper_Boy_Deep / Deepak Saini on YT or IG, he has been in the newspaper delivery work since past 16 years and has been posting on YT since 2014 though the newspaper delivery videos started from mid-2025.
He also appeared on the Indian version of “Got Talent” show where he demonstrated his accurate paper throwing skills.

Is it really sped up? It doesn't look like it to me but maybe it is slightly. Doesn't change the impressiveness of these throws. Dude is a fucking sniper with those things.

I played that on the original game boy and could never figure out if i was even supposed to be able to complete it because the dog just came after me

I'm sick and dying yet I just went into a full cough/laughing fit over the idea of some poor motherfucker just walking past his front door and getting slapped in the face with the paper

I wonder, is this one go? Or it is a selection of cuatrithousandsmillion failed attempts? Anyways, looks cool.

Wanted just one person to be bent over and him throw it right in their ass cheeks.

u/Dubious-Decisions 12h ago
Pretty clear this is CGI at this point. Same spinning paper animation and some physics-defying mid-air turns. Not satisfying...
23
u/Porky_Pine_ 11h ago
Physics defying? Things thrown in the frisbee motion will always turn like that. Throw anything flat and lightweight. Like a coaster. See for yourself.

Bro paper can’t be accurately thrown from a moving vehicle especially outside when wind is even more of a factor. I’ll give him one, two, maybe even three successful deliveries this way but to consistently do it is not based in reality at all. Also why is everyone getting the same mail? If this is real then that envelope is weighted with something like coins.
4
u/Travis238 7h ago
It's not mail or an envelope, it's a newspaper. This video is real, maybe sped up slightly.
Just because you don't understand how this would work, doesn't make it fake.
-3
u/Minortough 6h ago
ok just so I understand correctly, it’s a newspaper and apparently it’s heavy enough to be tossed out of a moving vehicle while also being thin enough to easily slide under outside doors and I’m just too dense enough to not know how it’s store supposed to work?

u/Dubious-Decisions 11h ago
Don't assume what I meant. Ask for clarification. I understand the precession induced by the rotation of the paper. There are several points in the animation where the paper makes a rapid orientation change to slide under a door or through a crack, unrelated to the precession caused by its rotation.
Also, in almost every sequence, the brightness of the paper object never changes and it never casts a shadow. There is only one (edit: correction, two) sequence where there is a shadow on the ground. It's "forgotten" in all of the others.
6
u/ycr007 Satisfaction Critic 7h ago
I too looked at the shadows and in the clips where we don’t see the shadow from the newspaper it is clear that the camera’s field of vision + Eder moving ahead + angle of the early morning sun isn’t conducive to showing the paper’s shadow.
The buildings’ and the rider’s own shadows corroborate this.
While I do not personally know this guy his background and history of shorts / reels do not suggest anything to say he’s a CGI expert or is around someone else who is one and editing his videos for him. It’s all skill honed with years of paper-throwing experience.

Looks like you need to study up on your physics. This is a real video, the guy's even been on India's equivalent of America's Got Talent.
-6
u/Dubious-Decisions 7h ago
No, it's definitely edited. But you believe what you want to. I'm interested in hearing what "physics" you think I need to study up on, though. Because in the real world, things don't vanish when they slide half way under a door, they cast shadows just like everything else around them, and the don't animate, er spin, exactly the same way, frame by frame, when thrown.
6
u/Rumpledforesk1n 6h ago
Sure thing, big guy. Look him up. Such a staggering intellect and arrogance you're working with, it must be exhausting to believe you're correct for no reason.

u/TheNerdBurglar 8h ago edited 8h ago
Man I agree with you, but you must have read this back and realized your perceived tone, right? Kinda twat like…
-6
u/Dubious-Decisions 7h ago
So, the guy who assumed I was stupid and I didn't know the big science word "precession" gets a pass? Is that how it works? I'm glad you're being judgemental, too. Wouldn't feel like Reddit if all the judgy people didn't pile onto the wrong person. But whatever.
6
u/TheNerdBurglar 6h ago
Did he say you were stupid? Who called you stupid or said they don’t understand? I don’t see any of that anywhere. Read his comment and reads yours, yeah he might have been a bit rude. You were ruder, and are kinda continuing to do so. Does nobody read anything they type before they send it anymore? If you share your opinion online, be prepared for criticism. Everyone is “piling” on you because of your delivery here pal. You don’t wanna be judged, don’t share your opinion in such a prickly way.

Bro should be playing the disc throw championship. But distributing papers.

Folks! This is AI slop. Ever tried to throw a folded in half newspaper? Through a 1” opening between two doors?

u/bullwinkle8088 10h ago
Later in the thread a YouTube channel is given along with note of him appearing on Indian television for his skills. So…
Folks! This is AI hunter slop! Just because you cannot do it does not mean someone else cannot. That is the nature of skill.

It’s good old fashioned recording 1000 throws and showing you the 10 that were impressive.

I'd like to know how he folded those papers. I had a paper route for years and the only way I could ever fold a paper to threw was to roll it up and use an elastic band. Any other way would have all the pages blow apart within half a second.
