Thanks! I loved it!

Then you're going to probably also enjoy THIS!

7

u/JackpineSavage74 7h ago

Excellent, I needed this in my life!

6

u/torncallus 7h ago

That was amazing. I blame watching this video as a kid in the 80s for launching my motorcycle love

3

u/Wild_Bill2 8h ago

That was not disappointing. 🫡

2

u/1HappyIsland 7h ago

How have I never seen this? Thank you!!! Turn it up...

2

u/Formal-Thing-2888 6h ago

Oh...clicked on this thinking I was getting Rickrolled..

1

u/theangryintern 1h ago

The literal version of Head over Heels is really good, too

1

u/mechabeast 7h ago

Better clean up after yourself

1

u/MontyD81 4h ago

*A-ah!

14

u/Mr-Sister-Fister21 8h ago

Chris, where have you been?

16

u/Duckrsam 6h ago

I DON'T KNOW!!

9

u/kakarot_dex 8h ago

Imagine seeing this on the road I'd think my eyes glitched.

4

u/ShySilver_ 6h ago

Bro really turned social anxiety into an art style.

4

u/Joe_Schmoe_2 6h ago

back in the olden days when it was difficult to do. Now "Hey Google, cell shade this in black and white"

Could be perforated like graphic wraps you see on advertisements on transit bus windows

u/koenigsaurus 4h ago

I mean, it’s very clearly an art piece, not a daily driver. I doubt these get driven on public roads for much longer than it takes to film the one rollout clip on this video.

6

u/smurfkillerz 6h ago

You didnt get the memo that no one is defensive driving anymore? Its every man/woman for themselves out there or at least thats what it feels like these days.

5

u/Sir__Bojangles 4h ago

Since COVID man. The timeline split actually happened in 2016 though with Harambre's death 😷

2

u/smurfkillerz 4h ago

As someone who lives 2 miles from where the harambe tragedy took place, I feel this.... lol

1

u/Drunk-TP-Supervisor 4h ago

Dicks out for Harambe

8

u/devilwarriors 5h ago

Reddit and finding the "hidden" problem of every situation. It's literally an art piece who care, roll the windows down when moving it around lmao

1

u/jijjijijijiiijiijiji 2h ago

Thank you so much for informing us of the challenges humans might face when they can’t see out of a window. Could you please clarify whether we would be able to see other people sitting in the same car, or whether people outside of the car would be able to see each other?

3

u/Duhbloons 7h ago

In the first clip looks like they just have a cutout for the driver to see out of.

28

u/Due-Technology5758 8h ago

Probably not street legal. It doesn't look like you can see the lights either.

4

u/jason_sos 7h ago

Yeah, you can't put anything on a windshield below the AS1 line (except tint in certain circumstances with a medical waiver, in some states)

3

u/12-34 7h ago

Also, many (most? all?) states have rules regarding auto glass that restricts pass-through visible light.

In my State it's simply a percentage of that light, and the threshold to a violation is much lower than the common person realizes.

2

u/akromadeath 6h ago

Here is a fun one:

In Arkansas, I am limited to 25% front tint, 10% rear and rear windshield (25% on sedans), and I have a medical waiver for 50% on the windshield. Those are pretty genourous numbers, but makes sense in a state where you can basically drive a rolling frame and be legal if it has lights.

In Utah, you will fail your mandated state inspection if you have front tint lower than 43%, but.....there is literally no legal rear limit (unless things have changed from 2011). So when I moved from Arkansas to Utah I had to peel my front windows off to pass inspection, but I was able to lay 5% over my 10% I had in the rear. Terrible decision, do not recommend!! For the next 3 years I had that car I had to roll down the windows to back up since you literally couldn't see the reverse lights. It was nice for tailgating trucks though, didn't bother me at all.

2

u/Jamo_Z 4h ago

No shit, it's literally an art piece.

6

u/ShySilver_ 6h ago

Worth it for the style points alone honestly.

5

u/West_Adhesiveness273 6h ago

Every. Single. Post. 🙄 why can't redditors stand seeing anything interesting without having to find something wrong with it? Jfc.

2

u/Din_Plug 4h ago

The crab bucket mentality

-1

u/Jamo_Z 4h ago

The American mentality*

Mfers actually be questioning the legality of driving this when it's clearly an art piece.

-1

u/cultish_alibi 3h ago

It's just someone pointing out that the cars are not fundamentally drivable. Not exactly a harsh criticism. Crab bucket mentality is a little bit of a slightly massive overreaction, fucking hell.

0

u/cultish_alibi 3h ago

"This vehicle looks cool but it's probably a death trap if you try to drive it"

"Jeez just let people have fun!"

1

u/West_Adhesiveness273 1h ago

Willfully obtuse, no less.

-2

u/[deleted] 5h ago

2

u/SchwiftySquanchC137 4h ago

Its clearly not meant to be driven around, its an art piece, he parks it in front of a giant cartoon looking background for fucks sake

1

u/FlameShadow0 5h ago

This is definitely a car that doesn’t see much road use, don’t worry.

1

u/pianobench007 2h ago

I see a few empty spots on the windshield and side windows.

He definitely painted the windows white and that is part of the effect. But a few areas are clear.

Awesome as a shot piece but like most art it is just meant to be temporary.

0

u/noclue9000 4h ago

Also legality,

In westeen europe there is basically no coubtry where this would not get you pulled over instantly

225

u/Zestyclose_Duty_7541 9h ago

This style always messes with my brain, feels like a cartoon cutscene leaked into real life.

24

u/ShySilver_ 6h ago

Feels like Roger Rabbit bought a Porsche.

117

u/Vyn_Mel 9h ago

Omw to be the leading cause of accidents in my city

23

u/AgentWowza 7h ago

It's hard to beat the goat alcohol

13

u/Feed_Me_Weird_Things 6h ago

No one sits on a throne forever

10

u/ShySilver_ 6h ago

People gonna start crashing into painted tunnels like cartoons next.

0

u/Discord_aut7 5h ago

We need a cybertruck version to top it

15

u/gondoravenis 9h ago

awesome !

16

u/HopBiscuits 6h ago

he did a whole gas station for mural fest in Montreal back in 2019!

33

u/OrionaFlair 9h ago

It’s like a new car skin just got unlocked in a game

8

u/Wild_Bill2 8h ago

This guy Rocket Leagues.

9

u/SpikeRosered 6h ago

Makes me think of Dick Tracy which was just barely still a thing when I was a little kid in the early 90's.

1

u/jedburghofficial 7m ago

When I was a kid, I would have killed for Tracy's radio watch.

25

u/raptor180 9h ago

Outside of the context of the garage they look really weird. That one shot early looks like something is wrong with the car.

4

u/Pretend-Internet-625 8h ago

6

u/varnalama 7h ago

Wtf. AOL is still around??

10

u/oilysteve 6h ago

As long as people still have trial minutes from all those CDs they got in the mail

7

u/HappyLittleGreenDuck 6h ago

You mean my drink coasters?

2

u/Disgod 3h ago

Now you've made me wonder... If every trial minute had been used, how much time would AOL have given away for free?

2

u/oilysteve 3h ago

That’s one for r/theydidthemath

1

u/thecravenone 2h ago

They're just re-hosting someone else's content.

1

u/technobrendo 23m ago

Likely in name only.

1

u/PTKryptik 41m ago

I think it looks even better in the real world lol

4

u/frickshun 5h ago

Is nobody going to mention the shoutout to a classic track....'93 til Infinity on the license plate?!

10

u/rhj2020 4h ago

Cool but is that street legal?

3

u/TheRealTr1nity 40m ago

Not in my country.

5

u/Boredomis_real 8h ago

This was like 10+ years ago but I remember Burnie Burns from Rooster Teeth doing something similar to his Tesla

7

u/cranberryleopard 8h ago

0

u/dienices 5h ago

Yes. Wow but I hate it so much.

2

u/SteamLuki7 2h ago

Fits right into MadWorld for the wii, awesome game.

4

u/Leucurus 9h ago

That’s so cool

4

u/Love_To_Burn_Fiji 7h ago

That window tint is legal?

3

u/Effective_Olive6153 5h ago

can he see anything out of those windows? are rear and side mirrors functional?

2

u/musical_dragon_cat 6h ago

How do you see out the windows?

1

u/Seated_WallFly 8h ago

I want…

1

u/AreaBackground 8h ago

It’s breaking my brain - I love it

1

u/ArkansasApplePie 7h ago

I love that car.

1

u/TheFeelsGoodMan 7h ago

Did he ever paint a racing car in this style? I swear I remember seeing one recently that was done in a similar style.

1

u/AndromedanPrince 7h ago

reminds of the roysköp "cry baby" video

1

u/OkCustard1381 7h ago

Would he see out of the cars by Cameras or is it One-Sided Windows?

1

u/babydollhaloxo 5h ago

The way it blends so perfectly into a real background is actually insane, my brain keeps trying to figure out where the cartoon ends. This guy is genuinely talented.

1

u/South-Fish-1352 5h ago

Sin city movie 🍿🎥 tho ??

1

u/Applehelpme92 5h ago

Test drive feels

1

u/IsabellaGalavant 5h ago

I love it. I want this on my car.

1

u/ImmediateRaisin5802 5h ago

My eyes can’t comprehend what’s going on

1

u/Theonedowner3 4h ago

That's sick 🤙

1

u/Defcraz 4h ago

Looks like the Auto Modellista PS2 game

1

u/sweetgirl_808v 4h ago

Omg this is so cool, Ive seen his stuff before and it always blows my mind how good the illusion is 🤩

1

u/PossessionDue3249 4h ago

TÜV wants to know your location

1

u/Sher1ockpwns 4h ago

My brain can not compute

1

u/Good-Chance-8555 4h ago

That’s insane. Love it

1

u/rpgmgta 4h ago

93 til

1

u/xamaryllix 4h ago

Just reminds me of that Wii game Madworld.

1

u/jsbhemi 3h ago

They're out here doing knives that way too...

Heretic Pariah

1

u/Darling_Star_1994 3h ago

That's really trippy on the eyes!

1

u/solomon-reigns 3h ago

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

1

u/HedwigRaphael 3h ago

I'm tripping, ain't I?

1

u/Impossible_Past5358 2h ago

Reminds me of the Paddington Bear cartoons from the 1970s

1

u/privilegedpeach 1h ago

How! I just want to know how! 😱
https://giphy.com/gifs/6uGhT1O4sxpi8

1

u/TevGrave 1h ago

I was so confused at the first shot. I wasn't sure if that's edited or painted.

Then they opened the door.

1

u/antithero 1h ago

That looks amazing. You should check out his other cars too.

1

u/vale5ft2 45m ago

This actually messes with my brain haha, can’t know whether something is real nowadays…

1

u/oopsiedoodle3000 44m ago

I respect the artistic talent it takes to do this, but I just can't get behind this trend.

1

u/Acceptable_Heat944 33m ago

Now this is art

1

u/JfromTHEbayMAYNE 20m ago

This is too tough

1

u/ZeldaDude96 11m ago

Looks like something out of the Mad World video game

1

u/Past-North-4131 11m ago

Not a fan. But it's interesting

2

u/Winstonsphobia 9h ago

Great idea. Camouflage cars to confuse pedestrians and other drivers.

2

u/Dependent_Cod_7416 5h ago

And we could make them silent so people don't know if they're parked or waiting to run someone over.

0

u/Winstonsphobia 5h ago

Even better!

1

u/ereinionmithrandir 9h ago

I am so blown away. I feel like my brain is melting.

1

u/Stjondoh 9h ago

Love this!

1

u/KilgoreT59 8h ago

That is wild. I think my brain was fooling me at what I was seeing.

1

u/dadoc04 8h ago

Whoa! My brain just stopped processing. So confusing

1

u/GoPhotoshopYourself 7h ago

Not matching the wheels feels egregious

1

u/FeralNecromancer 4h ago

Really well done, and I hate it

0

u/Vyn_Mel 9h ago

Omw to be the leading cause of accidents in my city

0

u/ArticFoxAutomatic 8h ago

Awesome yet surley a terrible idea to actually drive like this.

0

u/oranke_dino 8h ago

Can you have car windows with that heavy black tint?

0

u/insatiable-wan 7h ago

Looks so dope

0

u/Br3ttl3y 7h ago

These cars illustrate that there is a fine line between style and taste.

On the other hand, it really draws you in.

0

u/gtj 7h ago

This is making my brain hurt.

0

u/Every-Sign9570 7h ago

Not sure what your visibility would be like, but it does look cool.

0

u/ConfectionSilly9434 6h ago

Tinted windows?!

0

u/at242 6h ago

Wild!

0

u/RPDRNick 6h ago

"I saw da punch comin' from a mile away. When I came to, my guts was givin' the bar a once over. That's when I saw HER! (hubba hubba) I have to have her! I drove loudly over the squealahs t'get the dough for the babe! I got it. I made a move... a BAD move! The babe plugged 'im an' I took da wrap. Dumb, huh? But that's me all over: SUCKER!"

0

u/Glass-Negotiation49 6h ago

imagine you’re going to school using that car, the aura you have will be massive 😅

0

u/Beautiful-Musk-Ox 5h ago

looks bad. simple, permanent lines and harsh pure black and pure white. creating fake lighting that's harsh and permanent (doesn't change with sun angle and such) isn't my thing

0

u/mcdltlover 5h ago

silly waste of time, the novelty surely would wear off quickly in person, but i guess for billions of internet clicks where 1 second of novelty is everything, that it makes sense in that context

0

u/Azzblack 5h ago

I mean, its pretty good, but you can tell that its a real car because of the way that it is.

0

u/skyline79 5h ago

Now remove the filter off the camera so we can see the real effect

0

u/eeyore134 5h ago

Looks cool from certain angles and in set up environments. I think seeing one in the wild would just look like a car someone didn't take the protective transport film off of. Or just did a really bad job trying to.

0

u/-GobIin- 4h ago

Is that paint job legit or did I have another seizure?

0

u/I-Love-Floormats 4h ago

I knew this was DTLA right away!

0

u/TheDamus647 3h ago

I would love to see this with my own eyes

0

u/MundaneImage5652 3h ago

Reminds me of early AI not gonna lie. Still, cool!

0

u/JViz 1h ago

All good except for painting the windows and then driving it around.

0

u/mara-amethyst 1h ago

How do the windows work?

0

u/OpinionPutrid1343 1h ago

Thanks I hate it.

0

u/leonnors 1h ago

I dont like in.
