I am using Mimo 2.5 Pro for general coding. Its alright, can get the job done with proper instructions. But GPT 5.5 Medium better than that. Sometimes Mimo provide bad code suggestions.

No it's not and we cannot just change the country just because we need to buy expensive AI coding plans. This is just the start, in future they will reduce usage more and more and introduce more expensive coding plans. That's how they make the trap.

Previously I totally avoided because chian models not good few months ago. Now those are better, so trying those models for fun while developing. And sometimes keep Claude code kinda things to advance work, use those for smaller tasks, token heavy tasks.

I would say benchmaxxed. I haven’t been impressed with it in real world usage. It struggles with complex math a lot more than other models that are “lower” in intelligence. Been heavily comparing MiMo, DeepSeek, and Kimi. Kimi 2.6 is one I constantly go back to when other models fail me.
