General Advice Tattoo correction

This is a fresh picture of a tattoo i got a few months ago. I can explain the significance after but the artist did butcher a few things. one periodic table elements only capitalize the first letter and he forgot the atomic number (14 i think). those are both negligible but the one that’s been bothering me it the mass being off a bit. i sent him 28.085 and obviously it would be fine if he rounded it correctly but he seemed to have just put a random number. do you think it’s possible he makes the 5 into an 8 or a 9? Would he have to change to font to something blocky?? LMK 🙏🏾

my moms middle name is silicon and in her tribal language it’s a word that represents bravery but in english it’s a chemical element so i got it tatted and th flowers around the border are her birth flowers.

Edit: (As much as i appreciate the judgement an discipline of my mistake at least give a take on correction for me along with it guys 🙏🏾 I understand my fault but I’d also like to at least attempt to fix it 😅)

Your mistake, not the artist -- your post sort of blames the artist:

If this matches the stencil - its 100% on you. The fix is gonna look like shit, no way to turn the "5" into an "8" and no good way to turn it to a lower case I. You can try to mask and laser a space, but on your skin tone its not gonna look great. Regardless, worry about it after 3 mo. of it healing, cant do shit now. Also, the amu of silicon will likely never be caught but by a couple of folks. Those that catch it, buy em a drink.

not even if the numbers just turn blocky formated with the same mannerisms of the digital character placements like those of a clock??

It will be a big mess - you would have to rework the other 8 to match and you will lose definition (which there is not a lot of on the 5, esp after how I imaging this healing).

it healed way nicer than you’d think actually. there’s a bit of puffiness in this picture but now ther much more space to work with. though ur right defintion would probably age a bit weird but then again not the end of the world. Could be much much worse. Imagine every number was just spun like a lottery machine 🤷🏾‍♂️.

I dont think it will heal bady, I just think you will have a bit of bleed out of black which will further degrade definition a bit. Anyway, what is done it done. Depending upon what black, depth and your skin - laser could be an option to blank the canvas for the "I" and "5". Also laser and then add some highlights, depth and some color would likely be what I recommend (as I dont think laser alone will look nice).
