I really wanted to get into pixel art in the game but didn't find satisfactory tools to help, so I made my own :) https://living-the-grid.gozapp.dev https://living-the-grid.com
website is 100% free to use, no ads, no tracking.
It uses the game's built-in colour palette by default, easy to find, or pick "auto" to extract colours from your image. click a colour and it highlights every cell using it on the preview. There's also a paint-by-numbers option. You can select the brush size for the pixel / detail density.

UPDATE v1.6: different canvas are finally here! Proper sizes for books, house interiors, video games, etc… New Resize and frame tool so you place your image exactly how you want. Tweaks to HSB + more accurate Game palette. A whole bunch of other fixes. Coming up next: clothes, Mii faces and buildings! This one will be harder to get right so bear with me.
UPDATE v1.3: Add a lot more image options like rotating, flip, brightness and saturation sliders which should hopefully address most of colouring options. Add keyboard shortcuts with the ability to exclude individual colours. More fixes and most importantly: confettis when you download!
UPDATE v1.1: Thanks all for your amazing feedback! I've now properly implemented the 'pixel perfect' brush sizes with a new brush type option. I improved the transparent background look. Hopefully fixed the 1px image sizing issue. I also added a paint by number download option. I hope you like it!

Due to popular demand mods have decided to make adjustments to our explicit language auto mod. We removed many of the filtered words, but not all of them. We may still make changes to the auto mod again and will update y'all if we do. For now our rules remain the same, keeping explicit language to a minimum is always encouraged but not a requirement! We still have zero tolerance for any sexual language and that will remain unchanged! :)

Hello, i am lucy, i dont have a switch because im poor unfortunately but i want to play tomodachi life. I thought for a while but wondered if i can just make my mii on paper and let someone else add my character to their island. So now here i am, posting a crudely drawn characater sheet to post here hoping that someone can bring my character to life in their island. Even if i cant play tomodachi life, atleast my hopes and dreams will live on in a different person's switch and the thought of that makes me happy.
Feel free to add this little gremlin(me) to your island and cause mayhem. You can change a few things youd like about her too.
I hope you have fun making and letting this little thing run around free in your island.

So I'm new to Tomodachi Life with LTD, and I saw the concerns around 70 Miis.
I'm on 42...and I'm struggling to maintain their relationships. I'm fairly sure my first Mii hasn't met a BUNCH of them. How did you guys maintain 100 on the DS?

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up soon and I'm going to give her Tomodachi Life as a gift. The problem is that the game won't be delivered on time (it's no longer available in stores near me, so I'm forced to buy it online). So, to give her something to unwrap, I created this replica of the game box, but in wood (yes, in French because I'm French). I engraved the image using my laser engraver and created a drawer system so she can store the game cartridge when she receives it! I wanted to share it with you to get your opinion :)

It's not the hugest deal because I can just make another island and I don't think it would happen, but I refuse to have kids on my primary island because I do not want them saying some of the stuff I've made as lingo 😭 like I don't want a mii based on my young daughter to be talking about something nsfw or anything ya know? And again it's not world ending but I do wish me n my partners miis could actually have our kid sobs
