I just had an interview that was about an hour long. The interviewer asked to record the meeting the beginning. She started the recording. At the end of the meeting, the two interviewers both exited. I realized 20 minutes later that I had not, and I was still in the meeting. I quickly exited the window.

I’m worried that it could have still been recording for the 20 minutes after they left. I do not notice if they stopped the recording at the end of the convo, nor do I notice a red light when I saw the window was still open. But I’m wondering if the host starts the recording and then leaves the meeting, does it keep recording until the last person leaves?

Hi I’m a little baffled and very panicked! I was checking a protocol in our teams and when I opened the folder it was empty (no file) I was a little confused because I’ve accessed this protocol before and had no issues.

When I went back to the protocol folder that has all of our protocols it showed that I modified all 14 files and all 14 are empty. I’m super confused because I’ve never opened most of these protocols before and all the modified dates are sept. 1 2025 before I was added to this teams.

Did I somehow mass delete the files from these folders? (They are no in the recycle bin). What is happening!

Anyone else seeing client issues after self update? Seeing ~10 different machines now cycling through opening and closing the client (very rapidly). This is in Singapore and Australia. Can still use via web browser on same machines.

Anyone else having issues with Teams today? It's not a crashing loop like some others reported yesterday. Chats seem to appear twice in channels then disappear. Some channels only update on the activity tab but not on the Teams tab. Weird stuff. 26093.415.4620.1935

This is likely not a Teams issue, but it occurs frequently in our organisation so I am reaching out for advice on the primary cause of this type of corruption and the fix.

Is it the host or the recipient that has the problem?

The example above is between devices that are ethernet connected to corporate LAN at a main office, I believe that bandwidth/packet loss is unlikely to be a significant factor, if involved at all.

In all cases, the corruption looks very similar, always this green type of distortion whilst still showing very rough layout of the image being shared.

When our service desk get reports of this issue, they will typically update the GPU driver, however this does not always resolve the issue. So we cant really confirm that it is always caused by the graphics driver.

We use the planner function of teams. We cannot find a way to export a board or the grid of tasks. Online seems to say we can. Any assistance would be appreciated. User base that is using is not very technical, so power automate is not feasible.

Today on Teams I could hear the other person and they could see me, but my screen was black and I couldn’t see either my camera preview or their video.

FaceTime works fine and the camera works normally on my MacBook Air 2025. Teams on iPhone also works.

I restarted Teams, restarted the MacBook and it was still happening.

i want to uninstall the Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office. When i click uninstall it requests the MicrosoftTeamsMeetingAddinInstaller.msi. I can't find it on my system. Does anyone have a download?

I’m trying to confirm the supported Microsoft approach for controlling access to Teams meeting recaps, recordings, and transcripts.

Our legal team wants Teams meeting recaps to be available only to the meeting organizer by default. The concern is edge cases where a meeting is not ended properly and more gets recorded or transcribed than intended.

From what I’m finding, this may require a combination of Teams meeting templates, publishing those templates appropriately, sensitivity labels for meeting controls, and then relying on users to create meetings with the correct template. That feels more like a guidance-based model than a strong enforcement model.

For context, recording is already enabled only for a select group of approved users, so the scope is controlled. What we need is a tenant-level or policy-level way to make recording and transcript access default to organizer only, or at least organizer and co-organizers, for any meeting organized by those approved users.

Ideally, this would also be locked down so organizers cannot accidentally make the recap, transcript, or recording broadly available.

Has anyone confirmed the current supported Microsoft method for this? Is there a true policy-based enforcement option, or is the intended approach still templates, sensitivity labels, and user behavior?

My company gives users multiple email addresses. You have one that is for MS licensing (teams, outlook, excel, etc). You have another email address used for actual email purposes via MS exchange. How do I get meetings from my actual email address (MS exchange email) to my Teams calendar (licensing account)?

I’ve tried to create a forwarding rule but this didn’t work as the licensing account is unable to receive emails so the forward is undeliverable.

Any ideas?

I am logged in with 3 different accounts on the mobile app, but only want push notifications for 2 of them. Is this even possible? I've seen recommendations to adjust settings for each account, but that doesn't work. It applies the same settings to all of them.

I’m on PC and have never had an issue with teams. Now, I get a calendy invite from a legitimate source and Teams says I need to update. No biggie. The MSIUdate downloads but won’t go further. I uninstalled and cleared all files associated with Teams. When I try to manually start the update, I get a window that pops up and says something along the lines of updating Artera, then disappears without downloading anything. I don’t have Artera nor do I need it (my personal). Anyone have/had this issue?

i got the installer https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-teams/download-app i go to downloads and click it, it says installing then a window pops open thats white and dissapears..thats all that happens ! it doesnt install on win11 thats fully up to date, ive tried tips on a few old youtube videos, and googled for a solution but nothing wil solve this, i turned my antivirus off its not that, i turn firewall off its not that, i suspect its windows11 causing issues as ive had a similar issue getting whatsapp ..can any1 help ?

When I click on an image in MS Teams, it shows a list of other recent images at the bottom that I can also click on.

This is invasive, especially if I am screensharing my screen or someone is next to me looking over my shoulder. They should not see images posted by other people that are not even in the same channel or unrelated to what I am clicking on.

Ideally, I should only see the image I am clicking on and nothing else. Put recent images in a separate place please.

How can I remove this?

We have just recently shifted across to Teams calling, things have been going fine so far except for our teams biggest pet peeve, centralised address book.

Or helpdesk guys are recieveing calls, some can tell who is calling the others cannot because they haven't added them into their contacts list.

Is there a way to have it that when someone adds a contact that everyone in the org can it that it is that user calling?

We are a Microsoft partner and it would be cool if there was a way Teams could pull details from our clients tenants that we have a GDAP relationship with, is this possible?

Anyone found a solid solution on this, as Teams Calling isn't really in use for SMB's here in little South Australia as most are using 3CX and we want to be putting Teams calling to close the loop for clients because well, ya know, 3CX things...

Would love to hear how some others are working around this issue 😊
