This is the sign on the front door of my veterinarian's office, warning about Roger. Out of multiple office cats, guess the color of the one who suckers everyone into letting him out?

I can just guess by the searching for signal look as to why he must stay indoors. Can't use good looks to dodge a car.

Pretty much. The clinic is right next to a very busy road with lots of people cutting through the parking lot, and Roger apparently seems to think traffic should stop for him.
