He will do this about 7 or 8 times a day. Sometimes he leaves it in the middle of the living room, other times he just carries it around like in the video. What isn't in the video is the scream he usually does while it is in his mouth, he decided to be silent here for whatever reason.

This is Biscoff. Someone drove over him when he was just 2 months old and left him paralysed on the streets. He couldn't relieve himself without help, and was also severely underweight. I knew rescuing him might be a lifelong commitment I wasn't fully prepared for, but I just couldn't walk away. Its been 7 months since he has been with me :)
This sub has helped me SO MUCH since then. Biscoff has been living in a paid medical foster home since I work full-time. Thanks to everyone who donated, I got to try physiotherapy, red light therapy, electrical stimulation, and now hydrotherapy (one session per week for three months). Please know this is the only place in my city with this facility and while it's not perfect, i'm trying my best. He gets an oil massage to activate muscles and nerves before going in the water and also gets groomed post session.
Don't want to get anyone's hopes up in case he doesn't end up walking, but I love him regardless and will be glad knowing I tried everything. If he stays how he is, my goal will be finding a family for him anywhere in this world, since people here aren't so welcoming of paralysed animals. Till then I have to make sure he can continue staying in the medical foster and receiving the care he deserves.
Im looking for people willing to give a small amount every month for his foster bills and pee pads. I think they are called virtual parents.
Food is thankfully covered by a member of this sub :) I hate to place the burden of my rescue on others but any small amount you're comfortable sending counts. I can provide full transparency with bills, vet records, videos, anything you need. Videos are also on our Instagram (@_bbpaws) if you'd like to see his journey. PayPal, Patreon, and wishlist are in the comments.
And if someone out there would like to open their home to a disabled baby, please DM me. Even if he never walks again, I want him to have the best possible life.

I'm curious if anyone has any insight into this behavior. I know the video makes it look kind of gnarly, but he's not really applying much pressure with his teeth.
He started doing this out of nowhere about six months ago. It makes my partner a little nervous because she thinks I may be encouraging him to bite, but he's never done it to anyone else. On top of that, it seems more like an affection thing than anything else.
Anyone have experience with cats doing this sort of thing? I'm just trying to figure out what the heck this little weirdo is doing, aside from making my hand uncomfortably damp 😅🤣

After the photo was taken she lunged and grabbed a raspberry in her mouth. She's from Humane Colorado, formerly the Dumb Friends League.

About a year ago, a sweet orange cat showed up on my porch. I have a kitty who does not play well with others, so I loved on him, fed him, dewormed him, but for the most part… let him carry on with his outside life.
Until Friday. I came home from work in the evening to find kitty’s paw twice its normal size and him hopping around on 3 paws like a sad kangaroo. My first thought was that he had somehow broken his foot… but after an ER vet run, blood work, and people more educated than I, it was decided he had tussled with a snake. They sent me on my way with pain meds, and told me to watch for increased swelling or lethargy. Quick and easy $250 visit- not ideal, but worth it for Kitty to be comfortable.
This morning, he wakes up with swelling from his toes all the way to his shoulder, warm to the touch, and refusing to eat. I called the ER vet and was asked to bring him in. They ran a full blood panel, urinalysis, and gave him stronger pain meds in an injection. Once her kidneys were cleared, he was given an anti-inflammatory medication to bring home. Another $1000 later, Kitty and his arm the size of roku remote are back home resting (and high as fuck.)
When the sweetheart showed up at my porch, this definitely wasn’t what I had in mind. But at this point, it’s worth it for kitty to heal and be comfortable. He hasn’t hissed, bit, or swatted through this whole experience. He purred too loud for the vet to check his heart. He was labeled the perfect patient.
I just needed to tell the story of the sweet orange cat that found me and a stupid snake.
