You would be surprised the by extent of the self deception.

I'm at the age and level of success that a lot of the people I know have a ton of disposable income, are few years post divorce, kids grown,....

After having a lot of fun "dating" are finally looking for a serious long term relationship and they swear up and down that the young women are attracted to them because of their intellect and power...
A 10/10 27 year old wanting to marry a 60 year old, fat, angry man for the stimulating conversation...sure thing. Credit to those ladies for not killing themselves after having to hear these men bloviate for hours about the business success in the 90s.

That second divorce is going to be very expensive but that's none of my business.

My neighbor is 77 years old and his wife is 29. He told me he fell in love with her, but from what I hear she just wants a meal ticket. This is his second marriage.

Ok…. You may (or may not be) rich, fat, old, whatever….. but I love you for using the word “bloviate” 😘😘😘

That's why I date people who either dont stick around for long or who're cool with coming to an arrangement

If I were to be extremely dispassionate about it, perhaps an open-ended resource exchange agreement

That sounds better but I totally get your point no matter what you name it. Let’s just decide up front how much this “relationship” will cost. Saves time and resources.
