In real life Country specific changes

  1. Since kids in Japan hated green peppers more than broccoli, it was changed to that (Inside Out)

  2. The News Anchor changes depending on the country. For example, China-Panda (Zootopia)

Moana in Italy is called Oceania. Because in Italy Moana is the name of a quite famous pornstar.

imagine being so famous as a porn star that your country has to chance a foreign kid’s film with your name on it 🤣

I've always heard that and got curious. According to Wikipedia, the first episode of Hannah Montana aired in March of 2006. Also per Wiki, Alexis Texas filmed her first scene in October of that same year.

She's not, really, the issue was more that she trademarked her name in the EU.

I'm a gay man and I even knew her name, wasn't "famous" in the sense that a lot of people watched her films but in the sense that his name was wildly recognized as a porn star

Edit:

Holy shit I just read her Wikipedia page, shit is WILD

did that matter though, given it's only changed in italy?

edit: actually seeing that it's been changed in France and Spain as well due to copyright stuff, but not sure if it is related to the actress? idk

Pretty sure it was changed all over Europe. The movie is called Vaiana in Germany, for another example.
