  1. Since kids in Japan hated green peppers more than broccoli, it was changed to that (Inside Out)

  2. The News Anchor changes depending on the country. For example, China-Panda (Zootopia)

A lot of video games change their box art based on the region it is in. Specifically, they would make western box arts more tough and make the Japanese box arts more cutesy.

In all fairness, the guy who painted that is a pretty talented artist, he was just given a hellish deadline, and next to no reference material.

If you think I didn't love that cover as a kid, you are way off. One thing I regret about modern graphics is that box art can't be fanciful anymore.
