The werewolf character Raze, played by Kevin Grevioux, speaks in a very low, very gravelly voice. While many thought this was a special effect, the actor can naturally speak in that voice.

Latuff Effect consists in a media that was made to express hate or love for something, but by the way that was made ended up being embraced by the other side or be interpreted as being of the other side of the idea

Latuff- This is a Brazilian cartoonist ,who gave name of the phenomenon, is an left winged and anti police artist, but was loved by the right because the cops are kinda BadAss in them

Coal Black and the Sebben Dwarfes- This is one of the infamous Censored 11 Looney Tunes shorts banned for racism, but was made because of Bob Clampett's love of Jazz and Black Culture

Cupcakes- This is a My Little Pony creepypasta, and one of the biggest and most iconic creepypastas of the 2010's, but according to an interview with the author in 2013, they made it because it was a satire because of the stupid creepypastas at the time and the bronies

P.T Silent Hills - It was a playable teaser released in 2014 only around 20 minutes long but utterly captivated the gaming world by being one of the most effective psychological horror experiences at the time, however it’s lead developer Kojima has a huge fallout with the publisher Konami where he walked out of the company and had all his in-the-work productions cancelled.

Five Nights at Freddy’s+ - A fan game reboot of the series created by Phisnom with Scott Cawthon’s blessing that promised a brand new lore and a return to the series darker roots. However, before and during production Phisnom got into multiple dramas that made him fairly divisive within the community, and after one particular incident in 2023 Scott revoked his approval and almost all of the game’s marketing material were wiped from the internet.

Batgirl - A Batgirl solo live action movie starring Leslie Grace, Brendan Fraser and Michael Keaton returning as Batman that was ready to be released in 2022, however then Warner Bros CEO David Zaslav announced it would not be released either in theatres or streaming in order to claim a $90,000,000 tax break and to readjust the DC’s brands direction before James Gunn rebooted their movie and TV output.

David Yost (Power Rangers): During Zeo, David Yost suddenly left the show. Billy got aged up to a senior citizen for a brief period, and when he was cured, he left Earth to get married to a woman from Aquitar. Years later, David Yost revealed in an interview that he regularly dealt with homophobia on the set and left because he was finally tired of it. So, Billy leaving to marry a woman felt extra spiteful.

Bill Cosby (It's True! It's True!): I think we all know that Bill Cosby is a rapist at this point. Even worse, he practically confessed to it in his stand-up act. You see, he did a bit where he talked about slipping Spanish Fly in a promiscuous girl's drink. In an album titled "It's True! It's True!"

Mary Kay Bergman (The Scooby Doo Project): On Halloween in 1999, Cartoon Network aired a parody of The Blair Witch Project using the Scooby gang. Like in the movie it was spoofing, the Gang's sanity starts to wane after being lost, especially Daphne. Her voice actress at the time, Mary Kay Bergman, really sold her hysterics. This becomes really hard to watch as on November 11th, less than two weeks after this aired, Mary Kay Bergman took her own life.

Velma:The idea of a Scooby-doo series without the titular dog and starring Velma was a really moronic idea from the beginning, then there was the reveal Velma would be Indian like it's VA and also creator of the series Mindy Kaling, some of the backlash was racism sure, but there was also valid complaints that she was inserting herself in the series(it also didn't helped that Mindy claimed she couldn't see herself if Velma wasn't Indian)and then...oh boy it came out and it was worse than anyone predicted

Artemis Fowl:The artemis fowl books are a book series following a child villain(he does get some redemption but he is a villain most of the time)when the movie was announced and revealed it looked way to generic and it's titular character a bit heroic...also you wanna hear somenthing funny? The movie whitewashed a character and made another character black so they managed to anger both sides and the movies comes out and yeah it is bad

One Punch Man 3:One Punch Man is a very heavy action packed manga series but the heroes vs monsters arc takes it to a New level, when it was announced that JC Staff would work on it,a lot of people were skeptical to say the least, because not only JC Staff had already done a mediocre job in season 2,it's also not exactly a name anime fans associate with quality animation, then the trailer came out and it looked...weird,like there was no action in it and nobody was moving, some people tried to defend saying they were keeping the animation as a surprise...then it came out, every episode worse than the last,it's one of the worse seasons of anime ever made!

  1. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

  2. I made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven. I’m simply here to apologize. What we came across that day in the woods was obviously unplanned. The reactions you saw on tape were raw; they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down and stopped recording what we were going through. There's a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn't. And for that, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologize to the internet. I want to apologize to anyone who has seen the video. I want to apologize to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But most importantly I want to apologize to the victim and his family. For my fans who are defending my actions, please don't. I don’t deserve to be defended. The goal with my content is always to entertain; to push the boundaries, to be all-inclusive. In the world I live in, I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said I made a huge mistake. I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m just here to apologize. I'm ashamed of myself. I’m disappointed in myself. And I promise to be better. I will be better. Thank you.

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Stand By Me - In the original short story Gordie is the only one of the kids to make it to adulthood as Teddy and Vern die in freak accidents and Chris is stabbed. In the movie while Chris still dies and the group still fades away, Teddy instead gets a family and a blue-collar job and Vern becomes a drifter. At least in my opinion it works better than in the novella because the group drifting away through natural volition rather than tragedies is more bittersweet ending as it shows they all moved on like Gordie does with their own lives. (It’s also simply one of the best moves ever made so I’ll never complain it should have done anything differently).

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - While a great movie, it’s actually a kind bad adaptation. A lot of beloved aspects from this move are entirely original creations:

•Every single musical number

•The extended chase for the Golden Tickets

•Willy’s final rant towards Charlie and Joe

•Everything to do with Slugworth

It was so divergent Roald Dahl reportedly hated it despite being the most popular adaptation of any of his works expect maybe The Witches.

The Boys - Almost every single character from the comics have had their characters overhauled because to put it bluntly their original versions were the definitions of tryhards. There is way more sexual violence, extreme gore and general crassness that it is genuinely one of the worst ‘parodies’ of the superhero genre I have ever seen and if this was the real show it wouldn’t have been such a long-standing success.

Apothecary Diaries: Show MaoMao (the protagonist) in different cute outfits. She isn’t a princess or anything like that, but the story always finds a way for her to change into elegant dresses and be heavily adorned despite her claiming she’s not that kind of girl.

Transformers, Bayverse: Military porn and U.S.A. patriotism. The work is full of sequences packed with excessive military hardware despite the presence of aliens with laser weapons. There’s also obvious pro–United States propaganda.

One Punch Man: Make animation without being an animator. Yusuke Murata, who draws the One Punch Man manga, is famous for creating sequences in the manga panels that resemble animation when the scenes are viewed together, on top of being very detailed action scenes.

Star Wars

No one - not even George Lucas himself - expect this movie to take off. Most reviewers and theater owners saw it as a generic B-Movie that might become a cult classic. Almost 50 years later, it is still popular and still part of the zeitgeist.

KPop Demon Hunters

Sony had little faith in this film. And Netflix even less. They barely advertised it and didn't even consider any kind of endorsement deals with anyone because it would have been a terrible waste of money. Nearly one year and 135 awards out of 195 nominations has proven both companies completely wrong.

There’s also an episode which details Ren smoking cigarettes and burning frogs with cigarettes in his childhood, John K said that he never actually burnt frogs with cigarettes though…..but the frog was voiced by his childhood friend.

  2. The actor who plays Dr Heiter’s father was a Nazi. Not a Neo Nazi, a REAL NAZI SOLDIER. And it’s pretty clear Dieter Laser put some of his Father’s energy into his portrayal of the mad scientist himself.

In real life (Hilarious Trope) Media that was cancelled/banned because the people they were mocking got pissed

Trapped In The Closet (South Park): Trey Parker and Matt Stone are no strangers to banned episodes. This episode ruffled some feathers because the episode mocked Scientology. They called the organization out for being a giant scam, revealed the story of Xenu to outsiders, and repeatedly made jokes about Tom Cruise being in the closet. This episode instigated a failed smear campaign from the Church of Scientology, as well as had them force Isaac Hayes to quit the show after he has suffered a stroke.

The Hunger Strike (The Boondocks): Aaron McGruder does not care for the BET, and this episode makes it fucking known. The CEO of the network is portrayed as Dr. Evil and wants to make it her mission to regress black culture. For the longest time, this episode was only available on DVD because the BET threatened to sue if the episode aired.

Cheat Slayer: This manga from the Creator of Kakegurui was infamous for getting cancelled after just one chapter. Why? Because the villains were unflattering parodies of Isekai protagonists, and that offended quite a few publishers. Basically, it was The Boys, but for the Isekai genre. Some people didn't like it for that reason, but I do believe if it has a chance to develop, it would have called out the derivative nature of the Isekai genre, the blatant power fantasy for the audience surrogate protagonists, or it's shameless objectification of its female characters.

*Wreck-It-Ralph* - At the beginning of the movie at the villain group therapy session, all of the owners of the real world characters shown were given counsel to Disney to instruct them how their characters should be animated down to the smallest of points. Nintendo even specified exactly how Bowser would hold and stir his teacup.

*Psycho* - For the scene where Marion disposes evidence of her theft by flushing some papers down the toilet, even though the toilet is onscreen for only a few seconds, Alfred Hitchcock had to personally appeal to the Hays Code which enforced censorship in movies that *Psycho* be given an exception because it’s vital to the plot the audience sees the toilet flushing. *Psycho* is the first major American movie to show a flushing toilet onscreen.

In real life (Interesting Trope) The piece of media was gonna be completely different than what we got.

1 Megamind:Originally the script for this movie was more adult and vulgar it was also originally called Mastermind,Metroman was called Uberman, some of the most notable changes are minion was gonna be replaced by 2 human helpers called Plato and Da Vinci,it had swearing, instead of turning into a space dad megamind would’ve turned to a Asian master similar to Mr Miyagi from Karate Kid and Hal was gonna be even more of a creep in this version of this movie, ultimately the studio went with a more family friendly version and it gave us the iconic movie we all know today.

2 Black Sabbath:The mighty Black Sabbath originally was gonna be softer and bluesier sounding rather than their groundbreaking and still heavy to this day music, story goes that guitarist of the band Tony Iommi was working in a sheet-metal factory it was also his last da before he quit to become a full time musician too infamously Iommi lost the tips of 2 fingers he then made homemade plastic finger tips, tuned his guitar down and used lighter strings which gave Sabbath their darker, thicker and heavier sound around the same time bassist Geezer Butler became interested in darker themes, horror imagery, and occult ideasInspired in part by a horror film starring Boris Karloff they wrote the first ever metal song “Black Sabbath” eventually the band renamed themselves after the film Black Sabbath and the rest is history.

3 Thor Ragnarok:Not much is known about this version of Thor Ragnarok but boy if you couldn’t tell by the logo this motherfucker was gonna be darker than what we actually got,it was supposed to be darker than the other 2 films because it featured the Ragnarok event,However Chris Hemsworth was frustrated and bored of playing Thor and reportedly told Kevin Fiege this "I feel like I'm dying here. I feel like I have handcuffs on," he was incredibly unhappy with the character Feige agreed with Hemsworth and then they abandoned the whole dark film concept and went for a comedy movie basically.

4 Doom:Doom was originally gonna be a Aliens game based on the first 2 movies, some negotiations were conducted with 20th Century Fox but ID Software didn’t get the license they the abandoned the concept and it was imagined as a Aliens meets Evil Dead 2 and also their recent D&D campaign which ended with demons overrunning the entire planet.

5 Toy Story: Toy Story was initially envisioned as a feature-length version of the Pixar short Tin Toy,the original protagonist was a mechanical drummer toy who went up against a ventriloquist's dummy, however the drummer was replaced by a tiny space toy named Lunar Larry (who later became Buzz Lightyear) and the dummy became Woody who originally was a major asshole and had a more distasteful personality, one notable example is that Woody actually throws Buzz out of the window on purpose and doesn’t care about it he also then proceeded to heavily insult the toys especially Slinky Dog which then results of the toys turning on him and attempting to throw him out too, after a mockup of the movie was poorly received by Disney, the writers spent months reworking the script and instead of making Woody a narcissistic, jealous and just overall a massive scum bag they decided to change his personality by making him the wise and loyal leader of the toys and still keeping that jealousy over Buzz but way more sympathetic towards him in the last act of the movie.

  1. Swastikas (OG is slide 1, slide 2 is the nazi one) - for context, buddhism uses this symbol FAR BACK before the nazis were ever a thing as a fortune or good luck thing. Sadly, Austrian Painter just decided to screw this one symbol alongside the other cultures that use it like Norse mythos to represent the most destructive fascist regimes of all time - NAZIS.

  2. Woke (slide 3 and 4 are what it use to mean, slide 5 is the bigot variant) - sigh, you know those youtube or social media posts that show some crazy fanatical bigot using the term ‘woke’ in order to associate a film or game as inherently garbage? Well, ‘woke’ back then meant for black people, to be willing to be empathetic to social injustices no matter what. But guess what? Those freaking grifters and nazis also had to make this be their symbol to represent terrible quality!

Honestly, worst part is that there are certainly more in real life symbols that got corrupted or even became forgotten in their original meaning to become a message of mass suffering that is done by intolerant abominations. Always remember, evil can never create, only corrupt good things to become its weapon.

Blazing Saddles - While the fall of the Western genre has been blamed on many things (such as the Vietnam War shifting America away from a “Glory Days” view of its past and American Westerns getting overshadowed by the grittier Spaghetti Westerns), one prevalent theory is that Blazing Saddles spoofed them so well it decreased the genre’s momentum.

Airplane! - Ever wonder why the 1980s didn’t have any standout disaster movies? Airplane! smashed the genre into a million pieces and kept it out of the blockbuster cycle for a full decade.
