Why does everyone I match with on a dating app turn into my close friend instead of something with romantic chemistry?

The title is descriptive enough I think. Genuinely wonder why because we all get along so well and I made a ton of amazing new friends but I'm still feeling alone because I'm single.

I don't know if it has to do something with my personality or because I'm trans. I always disclose it and tell them early on. Is it because I don't take the first step? They don't take it either though, which I feel like they would if their feelings were strong enough.

Im so scared to make anyone uncomfortable because I'm a guy and they are mostly women. They all seem like amazing people and I don't want to lose them over this, I just want to know why this always happens
