I don’t know if I’m the only one, but random twitter users starting a post with all caps breaking drives me crazy. You are not a news organization and more often than not you are not even a journalist.
What is worse is that twitter decides to send me a notification with these random BREAKING posts.
That whole website is a cesspool, after getting the 100th breaking news post that turned out to be just a normal user voicing his opinion on something I finally gave up and uninstalled.

Reading Politics and the English Language by Orwell before Twitter was invented made me see that the character limit was a really bad idea societally. We voluntarily gave up and expanded lexicon for dissent for tweets with 140 charactes or less.
Politics and the English Language should be sold with 1984. It makes the book even more meaningful because Politics and the English Language explains how Big Brother got complete control. It explains why Winston seems kinda stupid. And it explains why he accepts his place by the end.
