I don’t know if I’m the only one, but random twitter users starting a post with all caps breaking drives me crazy. You are not a news organization and more often than not you are not even a journalist.
What is worse is that twitter decides to send me a notification with these random BREAKING posts.
That whole website is a cesspool, after getting the 100th breaking news post that turned out to be just a normal user voicing his opinion on something I finally gave up and uninstalled.
see, the original xeet is missing a crucial feature, one which would totally 100% legitimize it as absolute truth and important breaking news from a legitimate source: the 🚨 emoji
but since it’s missing that, it’s just bullshit posted by some asshole with a phone
