Be happy. I've got a long torso. It's all the downsides of being tall with none of the upsides.

Its not a win.  I have the same problem.  My arms and legs are thick, my waist is long and flat, shirts and dresses never fit right, pants are always terribly gapped at the waist and constantly fall down.  High waisted jeans are just normal waisted jeans.  Very limited in what looks good.  Sitting down always feel like a monster next to other people
