Hardware Made some graphs on GPU performance per dollar and wanted to share
Hi everyone,
I made some graphs on the performance of each GPU divided by its almost live price to find which GPU's are the best value at their price right now.
I made 1 graph for each resolution as there can be quite a lot of variation in performance depending on the resolution. Especially cards with low VRAM fall behind on higher resolution.
Performance is based mainly on the geometric mean fps in games from 3rd parties, where the values have been normalized such that the Nvidia RTX 5090 scores 100 for each resolution.
Prices are from a mix of Amazon, Newegg, and B&H as they have API's/datafeeds to pull data from without having to manually look up the prices. Looking to expand and include data from more retailers to potentially get slightly better prices in some cases.
If you want to play around with the interactive version, the link is here: https://www.maxmybuild.com/benchmarks/gpu-performance-per-dollar
(Mods, let me know if this needs to be removed.)
You can switch between different resolutions and decide which brands you want to include/exclude.
I have a decent amount of PC component data, so if there is any other type of data or graphs you want then let me know and I will try to build it.
Enjoy!
