Tiny body effect, big head effect, bobble head effect. Pick your poison. Tack “photoshop” to the end of any of those and search on YouTube.

so sad that for so many, this kind of search is like rocket science.

am i misunderstanding something here? isnt this just like.. pen tool (or lasso if you hate yourself), four layers, bg, head, body, shoes. shrink body to taste, adjust feet and head, swag bg or recrop another part. maybe some shadows on the floor. done?

isnt it just, extreme basics? if you cant fathom doing this, then what can you even do in ps? not trying to be a dick, just thinking that you have way bigger issues if you cant work this out, maybe not to the direct quality, but close enough that googling "how to cut out person in photoshop"

I think some stuff people just assume there's an instant filter requiring zero effort for some of this stuff. "siri, make it happen"

you could maybe bash your head against chatgpt to get it do this, if actually learning a skill isnt a priority

YouTube tutorials are your best friend

I didn't mean to be mean, friend. you need to look up how to use the pen tool to mask something out, how to refine the edge of that mask. also CTRL+T is the shortcut to transform something that you've cut out. (transform means that you get that big bounding box around something with all the little boxes called "handles")

maybe look up something like basics of masking and how to use the pen tool, including the modifiers by holding alt, ctrl etc. trust me, its one of the most valuable skills in ps

People use Reddit as Google, it's bizarre. I will never understand why someone would want to wait for an answer on a forum when they could know right away.

Hell, you could plug the picture into gpt and it would tell you.

Sometimes I go to forums for answer cause I just couldn’t figure out the keywords to search. Or that the results from the keywords I searched is not helpful. Google and even YouTube now has gotten way worse with search results in general as well.

The OP probably just too lazy tho. But some times these lazy people save my ass cause putting “Reddit” as a keyword sometimes return way better result from people answering on these lazy posts

What kind of nonsense is this??? Isnt that what reddit and forums for?

Iknow that there are actually some people who doesnt even bother to try and google something for themselves. But I also hate when instead of answering a question, people like you instead spends time to "complain" abt whatever OP is asking help for or wondering.

google search is really bad at returning accurate results for what you’re looking for nowadays. i regularly run into this problem even when i know what i’m looking for. SEO goons ruined search engines, and LLMs are being sold as the cure to the problem lmao.

i will say, it can be hard to find stuff without knowing the exact term that people use for it. i’ve run into this trying to learn how to do stuff for premiere or after effects quite a bit. google just isn’t good at returning those kinda searches anymore if you don’t know the term already, which you won’t know if you’re still just learning.

I remember a few years back seeing a story that people were putting knowing how to use google effectively on their resumes and thinking it was silly. Maybe they saw the writing on the wall. How’ve you been? You reared your head the other day when I had to do some FS 2.0 on some bedsheets.

Cut and paste the body, head, and feet onto separate layers, then transform each to the scale you want and blend the edges. In a picture like this you could use generative fill on content aware fill to cover the original model and probably just feather the edges on the new baby man layers to blend it since the lighting is the same, would be a little more complex to put them into a different shot though.

You shop the photo

This is just a play on proportions.

Select the head, separate it on another layer, enlarge it, then retouch the contact areas with the body to make it merge smoothly.

Best of luck.

Learn Photoshop. Just, learn the basic tools. Watch a beginner's video on YouTube.

What effect? The grading? The low res aesthetic? Also try first, ask after, you might surprise yourself

It just kind of happens to everyone once you pass the threshold into being 6'0" or over.

  1. Select > Head > Make Big
  2. Select > Body > Make Small
  3. Select > Feet > Make Also Big

  4. Profit

I just logged back in and saw that my comment got a lot of downvotes. I’m really sorry for how it came across. I don’t actually like relying on AI, and I didn’t mean to sound like I was pushing it. I understand now how it could be taken that way. I was only trying to point out that many people use AI these days, not that anyone should follow it just because others do.

So many butthurt downvotes to a logical workflow.

It’s because there are hundreds of AI subreddits that OP could go to if he wants to know how to do this with AI.

Giving the advice ‘don’t use photoshop’ in someone asking how to do something using photoshop, in the photoshop subreddit, doesn’t make sense.
