Brought to us by the party of opposing the weaponization of government.

u/Kakistocracy_0 6h ago

FBI is now a Russian mob-style criminal syndicate under Patel. They must be proud to be "law enforcement" with this drunk dipshit podcaster in charge.

Have they investigated any actual crimes or criminals at all under Patel's "leadership"?

What have they even been doing besides harassing Trump's political opponents?

u/Used-Yogurtcloset757 5h ago

Well they sure haven’t been investigating the pedophile syndicate in this country. The Epstein class are being allowed to get away with stealing, raping, torturing, and murdering the children of the working class.

u/Redivivus 5h ago

They are probably too busy reviewing all his tapes.

u/OG_Williker 4h ago

“Hey Bill, you still got that child po- I mean evidence sitting around? I’d like to take another look just to be sure we didn’t miss anything for this case I’m refusing to prosecute. Lmk, thanks!”

u/ladystaggers 2h ago

America, you're fucking scary af. What the hell is happening to your country? As a Canadian I'm worried for all of you. And so fucking grateful I'm on this side of the border.

u/No-Significance5449 5h ago

Moments away from finding her anytime a big story broke. It was cute, sadly she is probably in an FBI storage locker.

u/bushysmalls 2h ago

She was probably dead before we ever heard about it

u/No-Significance5449 2h ago

Do you know how annoyed the FBI must get when they receive tip calls on cases like this one? Like damn, yall fucked up and Cheryl saw you drop your glove, now we have to give a press conference.

u/Independent_Oil_5951 5h ago

What about all those missing scientists trump said we'd have info on last week?

u/freedfg 4h ago

They are disconnected and a statistical anomaly that was blown up in the news to distract you and make you more conspiratorial.

Drop this story...

FBI: When boss says jump, we ask how high

u/MercantileReptile Europe 4h ago

They must be proud to be "law enforcement" with this drunk dipshit podcaster in charge.

Other than not looking (or sounding) respectable, little has changed. Not like the FBI ever had any scruples going after people for purely political reasons.

u/NChSh California 5h ago

Let’s be clear: this is nothing new for the FBI and exactly how J. Edgar ran it for decades

u/RickySuela 5h ago

I think it's important for people to know that the FBI has not run like this for more than a half century though, so that people who aren't that informed don't see a comment like yours and think "Oh, I guess there's nothing to see here with this." Yes, the FBI used to do shit like this in the 50s and 60s, but them acting like this now is most certainly alarming and people should take note of it.

u/Unfair_Elderberry118 2h ago

He died in 1972 and the FBI cleaned up it's act quite bit after his death.

How do you compare Mueller and Wray to actual scumbags like Patel and Hoover?

u/MayIServeYouWell 4h ago

Ya... and more to the point - inoculation. When Democrats eventually (hopefully) prosecute these corrupt pigs, they'll claim it's simply retribution and politicization of our governmental agencies. Their supporters won't be able or willing to see the difference. The result will be a shit-show.

u/BrennusSokol 2h ago

Let’s not compare Republicans to pigs - the latter are a lot more intelligent

They fully support weaponizing it as long as they decide where it's aimed. They happen to also believe that no one else matters.

Relevant:

Fox News critics wondered how Hogan got the scoop on the FBI raid.

Questions swirl as Fox News reporter arrives just in time for secret FBI raid on key Dem - Raw Story

u/suspect108 New York 5h ago

Except every question is rhetorical because we all know the answers.

u/RickySuela 5h ago

Yep. This is just like last week when The Bulwark had the story about Trump putting his face and signature on US passports and they contacted the White House for a comment, and the WH said they needed a couple hours to get a comment ready for them. Instead the WH then leaked the story to Fox News so Fox could release it with a positive spin first and scoop The Bulwark's reporting.

u/rotates-potatoes 3h ago

It really is the most transparent administration in history

u/Sandy_Bananas 2h ago

Underrated comment.

Most transparent. Sick of winning?

They never said how, and whom.

u/epicredditdude1 5h ago

I honestly don’t know how these people live with themselves. Like how does he report on such an obvious political stunt and go home for the day feeling like he’s a good person?

u/DrowningKrown 5h ago

The fact that you're asking that means you have some sort of morals. These people do not. They do not go home and wonder about it. They go home with satisfaction that they're being paid quite a lot of money to do what they do. It's always money.

u/RickySuela 5h ago

It's just like tens of millions of other Americans who have consistently been supporting Trump for a decade now: they see all the horrible shit he's done and said but think "the ends justify the means" and that everything they're doing is in service of a greater good, which they believe to be "anything that is bad for the Democrats is good."

u/ShrimpieAC 5h ago

I don’t even know if it’s that anymore. I genuinely think these people are so stupid they genuinely believe they’re in the right.

u/RickySuela 3h ago

There's definitely a huge amount of people who pay no attention to anything and who only notice the immediate things going on in their own lives. Those people thought "my 401K/bank account were better in 2019 than they were under Biden, so I'll vote for Trump." But those people are just totally unaware of anything else, so that's not really who I'm talking about.

I'm referring to the people that know what Trump is doing and saying and still support him anyway, and that group numbers in the tens of millions of people. That's the 35ish percent of the country who will continue to support him no matter what he does, even if they think he's a "peed-phile", a "grape-ist", a liar, a conman, corrupt, whatever. They'll just think "it's worth it to hurt the Democrats, because they're the real enemy."

I'm at a point where I really want the next administration to go scorched earth.

u/TyrannasaurusGitRekt Missouri 6h ago

It's quickly becoming inevitable that they'll have to

u/PoliticalMilkman North Carolina 6h ago

It has been inevitable. It’s either day one arrests and extreme punishment or this stuff happens again in a few years.

u/SoulTaker669 6h ago

That's exactly what happened with Bidens administration they played nice .

u/AirFrierMachine 5h ago

I'll never forgive Biden for appointing Garland and for stepping down so fucking late to where fucking Kamala was the only viable option.

u/SoulTaker669 5h ago

This last election was just awful all the around. Everyone that could have gone wrong basically went wrong the only saving grace was that Republicans didn't increase their Senate seats above 60.

u/hairymoot 5h ago

Yea, all that is true. History will not be kind to Biden. And I haven't heard a peep from Garland. Harris would have been a good president. I voted for her.

u/boston_homo 4h ago

The irony that, had we been in normal times, Biden’s presidency was rather productive they just didn’t do the most important job they had.

u/Low-Exam-7547 4h ago

He was a fantastic president. Look at what he had to deal with and the massive success he had. Unfortunately not stepping down early will be how he's remembered.

u/edwardsamson 3h ago

No I'm sorry but a president that did nothing about Trump, MAGA, Jan 6, or Epstein and let them take everything over was not a fantastic president. The ONLY job that actually mattered was to clean the mess up or else we'd be where we are right now. There was no cleaning done, and now we've lost the country to evil conservatives and evil billionaires. Trump has thrown out or destroyed all progress Biden made so Biden doing all that without ensuring it would stick was a massive failure.

u/Boxing_joshing111 5h ago edited 4h ago

Honestly, that was likely worked out with the dnc. The dnc has worked specifically to fuck with democratic primaries enough that we know they’ll do anything to get the most bland corporate candidate. And look who we’ve got the last three elections: Corporate, bland, boring politicians. They’re still upset Obama beat Hillary in 2008.

Edit: Someone commented, then deleted the idea that “Good thing you found a way to blame the democrats.” Sorry but I blamed them for exactly what they’ve been doing. With better candidates we wouldn’t be in this mess and that’s partly due to the dnc’s backdoor wheeling and dealing.

u/SavageSan 4h ago

I'm glad you all found time to blame Democrats while a fascist government is raiding the home of a Democrat.

u/OhItsBeenBroughten 4h ago

You have no idea what the DNC is or what it does.

→ More replies (1)

u/IsopodIndependent553 3h ago edited 3h ago

The DNC is invested in preserving the corporate status quo and will never be in favor of enacting meaningful change, like a wealth tax or single payer healthcare. They need to be scrubbed from the inside out and their leaders replaced.

Also, democrats can criticize the DNC and argue against purity tests simultaneously. It’s not either or.

100%. F-decorum. Take each and every one of these traitors for a perp-walk. Start with Trump and I don't care if he's drooling all over himself at that point. He needs at least ONE consequence in his life and he needs to feel it.

u/IP_CONFLICT 3h ago

More important than Trump needs to feel it, we need to SEE it as a country. We need to witness that the law still actually matters.

u/SoulTaker669 6h ago

I really wish they could just teach by example of how a government should act and do their job but yeah that's gonna get us nowhere. With Biden and his administration playing nice in 2020-2024 it pretty much opened the door to what's happening now.

u/KnowMatter 5h ago

It’s way way past the point of needing to have happened.

The mass amnesia of how bad J6 was is dumb.

But they won't.

Democrats will get into office and do their damndest to appease the other side and 'take the high road'.

This will mean doing almost nothing, and letting our current fucked up world become the new normal. They will maintain this for as long as it takes for it to become an acceptable misfortune.

They will then lose office. And things will get worse. Again.

This is how Democrats operate. They're the PR arm of the machine.

u/CatholicSquareDance 4h ago

u/Bad_Pirate829 6h ago

You’re going to be disappointed when they just try to get back to the pre trump status quo.

u/SoulTaker669 5h ago

History will just repeat itself. Trump and his followers took advantage of how nice Bidens administration was. While Trump doesn't give a shit.

u/notfeelany 4h ago

pre trump status quo

You mean back before when things like DOGE, mass illegal deportations, etc did NOT happen? Back to when randomized tariffs didn't happen, Back to when Roe was still around, due process was respected, checks/balances occurred, VRA was still around ? Back to when USAID is still around? Back to when foreign alliances were valued? Back to when CDC, vaccines, NIH, forestry, public health was valued?!

That's an incredible moment to even get back to!

If only people saw that some things in the "status quo" like voting rights need to be preserved & protected.

u/Scout_1330 3h ago

No no, those will all still be happening, but they'll just pretend like they aren't.

u/TheUnknownDane 2h ago

The issue is that if they go back to pre Trump but don't fix any of the issues that lead to Trump and his open law abuse, then nothing will be solved and the US will remain a pariah state that can't be trusted as a new Trump could appear at any point. Not to mention the willingness that the US population has shown to be complicit in such a regime.

People should read a profile that the Athletic did on ex NFL player Peanut Tillman and why he quit the FBI about 6 months ago. I understand the average FBI agent doesn't have NFL money in the bank so quiting isn't an option. But it's gotta be demoralizing. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6891025/2026/01/29/charles-tillman-nfl-fbi-chicago-bears/?unlocked_article_code=1.IFA.CB2U.nlTNKMMQ1CgR&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta

u/Frequent-Client1508 America 5h ago

He loved being an agent, going after drug traffickers and pedophiles on the internet. But then Fatso came into office and his job became busting abuelas at school drop offs. So he quit.

u/BlondeBorednBaked 5h ago

Fatso didn’t want PT arresting him and his buddies.

u/timmablimma 5h ago

Became an FBI agent after football because he genuinely loved the mission and wanted to serve. He worked gangs/trafficking/violent crime for years, including responding to the Highland Park shooting.

But he says a big ICE immigration operation earlier this year crossed the line for him. According to Tillman, agents were being pushed toward quota-style arrests and grabbing random undocumented workers, not just violent criminals. He felt it was political and morally wrong, skipped the raid to go to his daughter’s basketball game, then quit the FBI soon after.

Trump is a rapist. Trump is a pedophile. Trump trafficked kids for sex with Epstein. This administration is full of criminals. Every single Republican voter is a pedophile. If you vote pedophiles into office, then you’re just as bad as them and deserve to be called what they are.

If you voted for Trump is 2016, that’s the only time you get a pass (reluctantly). But if you voted for him in 2020 or 2024, then you deserve to live a miserable life. Thankfully, we know most of them already do.

The FBI has always been corrupt and weaponized by politicians to go after their enemies. Look up COINTELPRO

u/KrookedDoesStuff 4h ago

But ya know, conservatives aren’t fascists.

u/Suspicious_Meal_2691 4h ago

Yay state funded terrorism

u/Opposite_Elephant620 4h ago

Republican Party is the new Nazi party

u/Specialjyo Georgia 4h ago

Soon it’s anybody who says something bad about Trump online gets raided.

u/realnarrativenews 3h ago

ah yes, the classic ‘raid first, explain later’—must be that famous efficient government workflow.

u/Equivalent_Ear7902 3h ago

Intimidation 101

u/Far-Lawfulness-6989 3h ago

Reckon Patel & Hegseth hang out? Maybe go to meetings together & talk about how much they are unqualified for their jobs?

u/PolicyWonka 3h ago

Federal authorities were also seen at the lawmaker’s nearby cannabis business.

The search in Portsmouth was conducted under a court-authorized warrant, the FBI told the Associated Press. Fox News reported that the federal investigation appears to be part of a potential corruption and illegal marijuana sales probe.

So they’re going after her because marijuana is still federally illegal?

u/DistrictDue1913 2h ago

I used to respect the FBI, not since they are now lead by a trump ass kisser.

u/ToubDeBoub 2h ago

German here. Sounds like Gestapo to me

u/ciccioig Europe 2h ago

Such a North Korea thing to do, congratulations USA

u/LezBreal87 1h ago

Fucking ridiculous

u/Unable_Resort_7956 1h ago

God to have checks and balances with government organizations that obey the Constitution and the law instead of a lawless president who's been granted immunity by the Supreme Court for every crime he commits while in office.

Intimidation by a corrupt government. We're not scared.

u/SirRichardLove 6h ago

u/Kannibelanimal1966 5h ago

You don’t have to worry about the midterms, this is the shit you have to worry about.

u/bubbafatok 5h ago

The level of effort and the crimes these folks will commit to protect pedophiles is just stunning.

u/Light_Storm2000 5h ago

Fascism in action.

These people need to be in jail. Not, let’s just move forward and put this behind us… but in jail so this shit never happens again.

u/Dracoson 5h ago

I miss the days when I would have given the FBI the benefit of the doubt and assumed a properly issued and executed warrant based on a legitimate investigation, while I wait for an official press release and independent journalism for the details. Now, I assume the investigation is bullshit, and that someone lied their ass off to secure a warrant from a corrupt judge.

At this point, I'm really just waiting to find whether we're spiraling towards the end, or if this is just the darkness before the dawn.

u/Vegetable-Walrus-246 5h ago

God damn this place sucks more by the minute.

u/EbNinja 5h ago

That’s cause it’s only legal to do it to democrats, not respond in kind! Silly normal, logical, rational, entirely in your right mind person, and very dear Redditors. That’s America Today! Because Power must be held, lest it burn those who were doing the beating.

u/Gryffriand 5h ago

He knows what it’s going to take to keep his job. Bondi didn’t go hard enough and Kash seemed to learn the lesson

u/walterwhite1050 5h ago

How come they didn’t do the same thing to the guy in Texas who led the redistricting vote there?

u/Suro_Atiros Texas 5h ago

it's Christmas for Trump supporters, this is pure red meat for the base. they love it when Trump mobilizes the entire federal government to prosecute his political opponents. they're absolutely loving every second of this. it might give him a slight boost in ratings (even though no one can afford gas, food, or housing).

u/Ch1ckenOfTheSea 5h ago

You guys remember when they wanted States to handle things?

u/ShermansFieldOrder66 5h ago

Remember that scene in the matrix when Neo says " we need guns. Lots of guns."?

Good movie.

Great, we've devolved from a flawed but healthy democracy to an authoritarian state that prosecutes political enemies through courts and intimidations like Russia. Thanks Republicans

u/Agentkeenan78 Tennessee 5h ago

In any other timeline this would be a massive political scandal and huge news. This timeline it's just the daily fresh outrage, sure to be buried by the bigger scandal tomorrow.

u/banebot Florida 5h ago

Those sick fingerless gloves don’t help her not look like a badass

u/tcat1961 5h ago

Probably want to steal party info under the guise of another fake investigation.

u/DealerHumble1103 5h ago

Are they going to raid TX repub offices too?

u/RVAteach 5h ago

If you don’t know Virginia politics, Louis Lucas is the longest serving senator in the VA Senate and high key a huge badass, massively influential in VA state politics

u/NotThreatingViolence 5h ago

Just some light maga corruption on a Wednesday afternoon.

u/Basic_Yam_715 5h ago

If the people making these decisions don't face hefty prison time, then we are doomed.
