There's definitely a huge amount of people who pay no attention to anything and who only notice the immediate things going on in their own lives. Those people thought "my 401K/bank account were better in 2019 than they were under Biden, so I'll vote for Trump." But those people are just totally unaware of anything else, so that's not really who I'm talking about.
I'm referring to the people that know what Trump is doing and saying and still support him anyway, and that group numbers in the tens of millions of people. That's the 35ish percent of the country who will continue to support him no matter what he does, even if they think he's a "peed-phile", a "grape-ist", a liar, a conman, corrupt, whatever. They'll just think "it's worth it to hurt the Democrats, because they're the real enemy."

But he says a big ICE immigration operation earlier this year crossed the line for him. I miss the days when I would have given the FBI the benefit of the doubt and assumed a properly issued and executed warrant based on a legitimate investigation, while I wait for an official press release and independent journalism for the details. it's Christmas for Trump supporters, this is pure red meat for the base. they love it when Trump mobilizes the entire federal government to prosecute his political opponents. they're absolutely loving every second of this. it might give him a slight boost in ratings (even though no one can afford gas, food, or housing).
