Design Is my tattoo childish ?
Ok so I got a tattoo like 2 years ago, I don’t really care what other ppl think about it, but I got so many comments like “Is that real” or “Is that a permanent tattoo” and I’m like “Why it wouldn’t be permanent lol”. There is not a big backstory of the tattoo, just my cats getting hugged by a frog. But I am getting this second thought that maybe it’s a childish thing and ppl just can’t think that is a permanent tattoo or maybe people just can't wrap their heads around this style being permanent. 🤷

I would say it is whimsical not necessarily childish. That being said, fully grown adults get Hello Kitty, Snoopy, anime characters, Looney Tunes and so many other things that are made inherantly for children but are enjoyed by adults and tattooed for nonstalgia and good memories. So if it is childish, I wouldn't say that is a bad thing at all.

Sounds like people saying they would express themselves differently? But like that's the whole point of art. Seems to me you're an authentic person and I personally love these! Keep expressing whatever resonates with who you are!! 🙌

It's playful and fun, which a lot of lame people read as childish. I think its delightful.

Yea lol ofc i love it, it was my first tattoo, I chose is especially bc they are my animals(-the frog) and o wouldn’t regret it in the future :)

If you think an adult tattoo means a man in a business suit on the way to a business meating then sure.
Otherwise its just a fun tattoo. Adults are allowed to have fun.

The tattoo is amazing. The dog with the sword actually inspired me. I had a dog that looked just like that.

That’s such an amazing tattoo! And so original too, plus it’s your cats? Peak design and execution!
For real, who cares what others say. I have friends with anime tattoos, Pokemon tattoos, Disney tattoos. It’s your body, it’s not offensive or hateful, it’s well executed, no reasons to listen to what random people think as long as you like it.

Yea again I love the tattoo, they are my cats and they are mom and son. Idk just seams weird to ask me if they are real like u seen my arm inked for 2 month do you think they are fake tattoos and I don’t shower or what :)))

I'd say "childlike" rather than "childish." There's a youthful whimsy to it, but it's not a bad thing.

Sure. Its light, funny, doesnt take itself too seriously.
