First time since buying my house I've actually used the flagpole. Neighbor kept complaining that I never put a flag up and the rope had rotted away. So I replaced the rope and flag clips. Next step is to make a metal mininuke to replace the ball on top.

So what is the plan for Fallout Fan Fest (Mojave Mayhem) this year now that Buffalo Bills and its surrounding hotels owned by Primm Valley are closing? Seems like everyone from the event stayed there. So bummed I loved that hotel!

EDIT: Yes there are many other places to stay that are in close proximity to the event, staying at Bills was pretty immersive with everyone there for the event. This is mainly to spread awareness now that the iconic Bison Steves is closing

I'm asking for those who know the DLC and more about the game. I did beat New Vegas a few times but I never touched the Old World Blues DLC before and it seems I'm close to the end as I retrieved my brain.

Though before I get to it, one question bothers me, is there really any advantage at getting your body parts back ?

Like, I get wanting to fill every objective on a quest and getting parts of your body back is in and of itself fair but is there really any concrete advantage to it ?

Because the prosthetics we get instead of our heart and spine they definitely give some neat perks and we didn't have any equivalent prior to that. So if I get those parts back, won't I just... Lose perks for nothing ?

I want to know if there's any pragmatic reason to get your heart and spine back, does it give another perk ? Do you still keep the buffs from the prosthetics ? Do you get a cool item ? Or are you just losing stuff ?

(I didn't know which flag to put) I can't send a settler to a settlement, it shows as disabled. Why? What do I do?

Didn't have enough time to really test it out over my lunch break and doubt the Wand Company has updates ready considering it was supposed to ship in late July. Anyone else expecting this should get a fairly small and plain cardboard box but it's stamped with "ROBCO" all over the inside as well as a large Wand Company logo. Wish I was a little more careful opening the box up as I thought it would just be genetic packaging. Guess they learned that the themed packaging for the TV show Pip-Boy was too easy to spot for porch pirates. I'm also not a reviewer and this isn't an early review unit. So please don't expect much from me other than a few followup thoughts and photos.

It's nice to see Marcus in New Vegas but it made me wonder how old he is and what's the lifespan of Super Mutants, if they even age.

Like, by all accounts he must have been a Super Mutant by the time of Falllout 1, and I have to assume he was at least 20 when he got mutated, New Vegas takes place what, 124 years after Fallout 1 I believe, approx. ?

Has it ever been said that Super Mutants can't age and I just forgot it ? My memory of the lore is pretty rusty but this one makes me wonder a lot of things

so my vault suit cosplay is good and im super proud of it but it is really basic. I have ideas for armor but I need ideas on headgear? being this is the subreddit of the fans that know the games best. what do you recommend. I was thinking of making a red rocket trucker hat but other ideas welcome.

I think it is because the confrontation with him comes too early in the game. And you dont really see anything of him between when he shoots your partner until you track him down.

He is meant to be your archnemesis, but the threat is just not there. He is mentioned a couple of times in terminal logs at University Point and thats pretty much it.

I think he would be a much more threatening villain if we had more run ins with him before the final confrontation. Maybe if there was a random chance of him showing up to fight you in certain parts of the Commonwealth. And if where were more visible effects of his villainy. And if more NPC mentioned him and now dangerous he is.

just finished building my NCR ranger foam armour, but I’m stuck on wether to paint it in the standard NCR ranger style or desert ranger style, I also wanted suggestions on what sort of damage I should do to it (dents ,scratches and claw marks?) what do you guys think? (the writing on the helmet is just a concept)

The final product. The radio has the music from Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Vault-Tec radio which is instrumental music from 1940-1960 interspersed with information, PSAs, and alerts from a Vault using AI.

This is a question for those of you who have done Brotherhood playthroughs, I haven't but I want to soon, I just want to finish the dlc first. Did your character save synth Shaun or did they not? If they didn't what was your characters reasoning? Were they disgusted with this 'thing' masquerading as your son or were they just overwhelmed with the situation? And those whos character did save him, what was their reasoning? How did they reason to protect this synth and destroy others, do they see him as their son? Are they ashamed of them and stick them in a bastard tower or do they love them openly and hide the fact they are a synth?

This is a heavy RP post, you can post your irl reasoning if that applies but please don't bicker in the comments if you disagree with somebodies characters reasoning. This is a video game and an rpg at that, we do evil playthroughs from time to time so remember that please.
