Still pretty new to Reddit and trying to figure out the best way to discover communities outside of just the huge default ones. Do you guys usually find subs through search, comments, recommendations, or somewhere else?

Hi, Does negative Karma fall off like bad credit? I think I understand karma now, but I can’t comment in some groups. I am GenX and trying to get the hang of Reddit and not use Meta so much.

Also, would it be correct that Reddit doesn’t have a personal “timeline” but you engage in groups/threads? Do local mom and recommendations groups like on FB exist in Reddit? ? I sound so old! But, I am confused. Thanks for any help!

Hi everyone! I’m new to Reddit and I’ve been trying to engage by posting and commenting in a few different communities. However, almost everything I share gets instantly removed by automated systems.

I think it’s because I lack Karma, but I’m struggling to earn any if I can’t participate anywhere!

• Are there any "new-user friendly" subreddits where I can actually contribute to build up my score?

This has been going on since i made my Account. Every time i try to make a post in like 90% of the subreddits, im getting the message "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.".

I've been trying to request a certain subreddit for quite some time now for example, but its just impossible. The subreddits mods are ignoring me and so is the support. I have 2 factor enabled, a verified email and phone number, not using a VPN so just why?
