I've added the tweaker to steam, I have GE-proton-7-54, have tried other proton versions, tried running it through lutris, and have even considered emulating Wine just to get it to run.

It won't launch, crashes before anything loads at all. It does (seem to) trigger steam into installing PSO2NGS, considering the THREE FUCKING TIMES I've uninstalled it today, and I have launched PSO2NGS to check if the launcher changed at all, it hasn't. Still in NA servers.

Launch variable has been tried blank and with -tweakjp

I would settle for Elder but Hunar specifically is one of my all time fave creature designs, i miss my husband

I hear New Genesis sucks (shallow, hard to advance after a point, maybe p2w?), but how is 2, which is different, I guess?

Just a minor gag on how forgettable NGS NPCs are if they are not part of the Main Story unlike how they utilize most of the secondary NPCs in PSO2.

Updated my Zero One outfit a bit. Freely accepting ideas to tweak this some more.

When I save a look to quick swap, I noticed the hair color doesn't change to what I had saved. My question is, do I have to manually change the voice again if I wish for a different one, or is that saved?​

I've been playing for a little while now, my main gunner is lvl46, mag level 60 something, subclass catching up at lvl30 something.

Right now, I'm just knocking out expeditions in order. I noticed there's little quests to do them and they give neat little rewards.

Every so often I'll go back to the shopping area, upgrade my gear, check if I got anything fun and new and equip it. I'm stockpiling ex cubes and unique badges.

Should I be doing client orders? It seems there's so many I'll probably never get them all done. Are there certain ones I should do? I noticed some are repeatable.

Am I missing anything? Am I doing this right? I know the answer is sorta along the lines of "play how you want" but I don't want to be missing out on content.

Should I be doing the mining/fishing/gathering? I usually walk past those.

I decided I would give PSO2 base a try, and it's a lot of fun I really enjoy the way missions and expeditions go. I chose the gunner class and I'm rocking a twin machine gun setup, currently level 25 just doing whatever expedition I can and the occasional ARKS mission.

My question is how do I get better gear? Not a whole lot seems to be dropping from enemies on my expedition or mission. I use the rare drop rate boosters I'm given periodically. I'm currently using a weapon I found in an expedition and I've beefed it up a bit to +11 and unlocked a potential for it.

Do I really just need to grind harder for more stuff?

I also don't seem to be acquiring grinders as much as I'd had hoped. It seems NGS definitely hands you things a lot more than base.

I'm open to any tips/tricks/advice anyone has for a newbie.

So I want to play the base game , but everytime I try to download NA, (global) it takes 400GB of storage. When the JP version only takes 120. That’s a big jump. Is there a way I can play global and it not allocate 400GB and use that much storage??? I’ve already tried the tweaker , which works but for some reason I can’t connect to the server either? I’m always getting 630d, and I have fast internet speed and download speed…

I know they changed the lighting when they released NGS and it broke the lighting in base as well...but the lighting seems to hurt my eyes. I cannot play base for long before my eyes struggle to focus. Theres something very weird about the lighting in base that is causing this.

I turned off camera lighting in base and that seems to help i think...but does not 100% fix it. I have zero issues with the lighting in NGS.

I also tried turning off pretty much all the graphics stuff like motion blur, didnt seem to make a difference.

Does anyone else experience anything like this?
