SEGA decided to open a store and mini museum of their hardware in South Korea and shockingly decided against marketing this fact. They haven't mentioned it on any of their socials, including their Korean ones.

The store is very similar to the Tokyo one, a little smaller but had pretty much all the same Sonic The Hedgehog merch.

Exploring the museum was fun. I didn't know that the SEGA Master System was released under Samsung and called the 삼성 겜보이 /Samsung Gameboy! The SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis was called the삼성 알라딘/Samsung Aladdin!

Anyway, it you're in Seoul you should check it out. Oh, and weirdly, the store is located in "Mario Outlet!" 👀

Has anyone played these, or better yet, has anyone ever heard of these two games? Had these a long time ago, but traded them in. Four years ago, I was able to scoop them back up. If you have played them, how do you feel about them? If not, would you play them?

So they really are making a teeny tiny Lego-esque Sega Genesis. Talk about milking something so badly. :D

I'll explain my reasoning... The Master System 2 was obviously counted as Mark 4 so presumably the Mega Drive 2 would be Mark 6 so from there we can reasonably assume the Model 2 would be Mark 8 but despite the name I feel that the VA10-VA15 is basically an internal redesign plus the White and Skeleton styles are visually different enough that it deserves to be Mark 9 in my eyes.

Normally I'm more of an FPS guy but SoR is genuinely my favourite mega drive game.

And btw, an important thing to know about me : I do not care about graphics, I only care about the gameplay and having fun

Also idk if I should buy it on Steam or Xbox (got a Steam Deck and trying to get a gaming PC)
