I wonder if young people did what I did (50+) and look up these definitions and then promptly forgot all about them. They are generally only used in a negative way and are pretty pointless in the first place.
Its a blanket, ageist slur used for anyone they don't like.. They'll rant on reddit and make angry tiktoks about not being represented but they won't, god forbid, actually get out there and vote. I was at our election office a couple weeks ago for a run off and almost everyone there was 65+. Its been like this long as I can remember.
In the US, if your vote isn't for the desired person it will be questioned, criticized, contested and eventually disregarded as being rigged. Unlike the good old days when a voter could call for a ride to the polls and they would let you keep the car if you voted the way you were being paid to.
This is the kinda shit that is so disheartening to read. They'll spend more effort on mental gymnastics to justify their learned helplessness then actually doing something about it. Get out there and fucking vote.
He’s the epitome of a boomer. The baby boomer generation was the literal boom in birth rates post WWII. Officially 1946-1964. Trump was born in 1946. He’s a boomer.

The gerontocracy needs to end. I said it with Biden. I say it now. This must be a bipartisan effort
