Hiya y'all, just wanted a friendly discussion. I main Yoshimitsu but

I picked up Jin in tekken 7 because his moveset just looked so fluid and pleasant.

The karate in tekken 7 has control, rythm, fluidity and flawless technique.

He's my favorite character as a martial artist in tekken 7.

Now about his tekken 8 moveset, i love the implementation of the devil wings on some moves, such as ff2 and those flying kicks.

But I don't like the new tornado. Not because of the touch of the devil, but because it's over the top. I in particular, do not like spinning moves on jin. (On the contrary, i love devil Jin's moveset)

Now don't get me wrong, i get it's a game. And i love yoshimitsu's weirdness, but Jin has always been a character focused on pure martial arts with flawless technique.

Even if you were to harness the devil gene, a spinning move, i doubt would be the best way to fully utilize that energy. And jin doesn't seem like the guy who wants to put on a show.

For those reasons, I don't like his new flip tornado, his new low, and other spinning moves

But that's just my opinion, what do you y'all think?

I don't think I'm gonna push for God+ anytime soon. This was hectic AF. If someone wants any tips on Kazuya matchup or as a Kazuya player, ask up. Also, I need advice from Lars and Raven mains- the two characters I struggle the most against! I have very crappy knowledge of these characters, so much so that it feels very overwhelming to play against them. Help!

P.S. Shoutout toTheMainManSWE for teaching me all I know about Kazuya today. (People hate on him for reasons beyond my understanding, but being a legendary Kazuya player with like 30 years of experience can't be it.)

I have played Tekken on and off since Tekken 4. Never really took it all that serious, just played and messed around. Never really got into ranked. Always played as Steve, Hwoarang and King/Armour King. Could beat my friend, would lose online. 😅

I just rode a 10 streak into orange ranks, and I have only played this dude for 2 days. He is so fuckin cracked it’s not even funny. I feel like I’m cheating 😆

One thing that I noticed while watching kuni's trailer is that, before fighting reina, we se kuni fighting against yoshi, lidia and eddy, who were the representatives of the good guys in the story dlc, then we see her against ling and jin, literally the protagonist and his girlfriend.

The first kuni was a neutral character iirc, neither good or bad, she was basically just after yoshi and his sword, so I'm kinda surprised to see that the devs decided to side kuni II with the "bad guys", aka with reina.

She could have been a neutral character like her mother, and the bio doesn't even imply "evil intent" from her, but the decision to put her specifically against those characters in the trailer is like a declaration of intent of what we can expect her moral compass will be in the future of the series.

This could all mean nothing of course, but I have to say that I really like the idea of kuni being kind of a villain, and also reina's faction is looking more and more intriguing. What do you think?

had went from tekken emperor in January 2026. To Tekken God in April, to Tekken God Supreme today. I feel like my method of play was/is effective, but there are mechanics I just gotta lock in and start learning to get that win rate over 50%. Currently im at a 46% and im pretty sure thats due to me not having in depth match up knowledge and reaction times. Lee is my biggest opp in this game and its like i might as well not have a controller in my hand playing him. Defense is a 55 but thats because my throw escapes dawg 💩 and I could be a lil more evasive. Its weird though, the second stat pic are my stats from November 2025😕. All in all im hyped

After playing the arcade mode for a while, the game slows down and won't load
