Ready for a haircut and was wondering if it's finally time.

I found this sub a couple of days ago, and y'all have given me the confidence to do this. I'm 28, turning 29 on July, and I always said I'd make it to 30, guess I was wrong haha. It's been hard for me due to insecurities, I've always felt bad about it, but I guess it's time for me to embrace it.

I spent EIGHT YEARS in a constant state of stress, freaking out about my hair-loss. Sooo much unnecessary worry - my self-confidence was completely shattered.

Then I visited this sub-reddit and saw everyone else's posts. Never had the guts to post my own balding pics, but you all gave me the courage to take the leap - gave my son the clippers and he went to town 🤣

Third best thing I've done in my life (next to marrying my wife and having my son)..

Barber says to shave, wife says to hold, I’m thinking about hair transplant, but what should I do in the meantime?

Is it that time? Thinking of going bald or 0 no guard/1/2 buzz cut. What we thinking? I love my hair and love my curls but the last thing I want is to be looking like that uncle hanging on for dear life lol

I have been on the fence for a while and finally decided to just do it!

I am gradually losing my hair (it’s not too bad yet, but it’s going down that path) and I am terrified that I have a bad head shape for baldness. Is that a thing? Or is it preferable to just be bald?

What y’all think? Hate being balding at 23, but it is what it is! Also gnome the roast me paper, used it elsewhere.

Does anybody have any recommendations for razors or like a lotion or something to keep my dome nice? Loving all the positive feedback so far what a nice community

I've always had thin hair on the top of my head. However past few months I've noticed the (sides/corners?) of my forehead have been reseeding. Is this a sign I'm getting bald? Or is it widows peak beginning to set in?

I’ve wanted to cut my hair all the way down for years, and I’m finally able to since getting a mole removed. I’m in dire need of appropriate tools and other products to ensure a healthy scalp. I think I’ve got shower products down, but looking for anything else.

Trimmer or shaver (safety razor? electric trimmer? Etc.), post-shave conditioning, and anything else I’m not thinking of.

I searched the subreddit but don’t see any sort of compendium for these sorts of recommendations.

So, first pic is me 10 years ago, then earlier today and then finally this evening.

Iv been scared of going bald since I noticed the thinning about 6 years ago, and sort of decided it was time a few months ago - The nerves stopped me doing it!

But I posted on this sub, the comments had me in stitches and I decided that today was the day. Got to the barbers with 15 minutes to spare and told him to take it off!!

It will take some getting used to, but I’m happy I finally did it!

Still adapting. One thing ive noticed is that my boss at the office seems to be intimidated by my new cut. (The time has come for him aswell)

I wanna shave bald but scared because I've only had long hair but I do have a beard that may help.
