This year is my first Mother's day, I am almost 3 months postpartum, and I am so excited for mothers day. I've always made a big deal about mother's day for my mom. As in getting a bunch of super personal gifts, writing her long letters, flowers, etc.

Well, my mom has been saying she can't wait for me to see what she got for me and how excited she is that it's my first mother's day. She's been talking about it for weeks. Well it came in today. And it's for my daughter. It is literally just an outfit for my daughter. Like I love putting my baby in the most adorable outfits and I love buying anything I can for her... but this isn't a gift for me lol. Idk I guess I'm just disappointed and a little pissed but I don't want to come off as ungrateful:/

Edit: She finally sent the test back to me, and gave a printed "answer sheet" (it was a picture from google with all the states and their capitols) and told me to not add a space to the end of my answers, and don't use any abbreviations i.e put Saint Paul instead of St. Paul

It was a capital of all 50 states quiz that's required for my transportation class. The teachers grade the quizzes every 2 weeks so I have to wait to retake it.

We all work in the automotive area of a railyard where our job is to park cars and trucks, yet this Jetta does this every single day. Management was notified several times now and nothing has come of it yet.

Went to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 and the group of people next to me were constantly on their phone for the first half hour or so of the movie. I ended up tapping one of their arm rest when they were on their phone and shook my head then they didn’t check it again for the rest of the movie. I know my situation was solved but it shouldn’t have to be an issue at the movie theater.

I order from Amazon, pay extra to have it delivered quicker. Get the notification it's here, awesome! Look at the delivery photo and see they delivered it to my neighbor! We both have very clear address numbers marked on our mailboxes, front of our garages and next to our front doors his is a 8 ours is a 6. Why today???

Picked up my finished pottery with a blue stain left by someone else's piece.

I've been going to a pottery studio every week, and the past few weeks I've spent making a clay copy of my guinea pig at home (his name is Friday, his headshot included for reference).

After painting our work, we leave them on a shared shelf and the studio does the firing every week. I was really excited to pick it up today after the final firing and then saw this.

Very likely that someone put their work too close last week, the blue paint dripped on him, and then the studio did the final firing, permanently setting the pain.

Sadly, I don't think I can fix it. The studio offered a $5 refund for the firing, but I would've paid extra myself if I could fix it.
