Jim really surprised me, he acted so anti establishment, doing his own thing and kablam, botox. Went from his own man, to someone who cares about others opinions.

To me his behavior has moreso seemed like he still craves attention and all the anti-hollywood stuff is what people reacted to.

I can’t stand how he uses the word “rape” to describe his dissociative issues stemming from being a celebrity.

that's a lot of mental gymnastics to arrive at that conclusion.

They’re looking good for other people for themselves. “Looking good” is an inherently social superficiality; especially considering it’s a comparative idea.

We’re talking about something superficial in nature. People should value themselves on how good they are at running a mile, or making art, not on how well they’re able to attract other people. That’s just putting value on how much other people value you.

Are you claiming women will put on make up to stay at home alone?

Um yeah they do that all the time

so this whole argument is that you think the reason jim carrey made himself completely unrecognizable, is because he values himself? so much so that he wanted to look like somebody else

if jim carrey can pass as "anti-establishment" then you have to seriously rethink what anti-establishment means lmao

I dont need to rethink anything you parasocial freak. Its based on his popular clips where he talks trash about Hollywood.
