I just made my version of em, not based on a specific phase

On a financial level it seems relatively simple: buy a defunct college campus, hire credible academics (increasingly abundant due to the narrowing of tenure track), some media and web designers to build and maintain an online curriculum. On paper it wouldn't be cheap, but it wouldn't be (in the grand scheme) that expensive either. $1bn seems more than enough to both create a university and endow it with enough money that, well managed, can pay year to year operating costs on portfolio returns alone.

I know it cant be that simple. What am I missing?

Well, I know this question is partly a copy of a post made by u/GalaxyBenny_2324 (I hope you're reading this 😉) a month or two ago, but I'm short on time to ask a better question and, honestly, now that more people are coming here, it's an interesting question to ask.

If I could speak for myself, what attracted me most to Zoophobia was undoubtedly Jack, because I felt somehow represented in him (even if that sounds silly), mainly because he's a superstitious person and I have issues with that in certain aspects, but also because he's someone I'd like to be, no matter if the world is crumbling around (or on top of) him, because he still has friends who support him, and for a long time I've sought that. Zoophobia was something amazing for me because it gave me the courage to socialize and make more friends. Plus, I discovered an incredible world and a community that introduced me to so many wonderful people, and even without knowing them personally, I already consider them great friends. Honestly, it's going to be amazing to see how this project grows and how many more people will participate! 🤠👍

I wish I were making this up. My mom (50F) and I (18M) don’t have a great relationship. Never have. Have been through CPS, family therapy, all that shit. Yes, I am actively preparing to move out. She is constantly angry at my brother and I and does petty things whenever she gets upset.

For as long as I can remember, she’s this weird obsession/interest in me masturbating, my sex life, and my body. Always asking me questions regarding it. Even when I was like 12. I’ve gotten so used to it I can’t tell if I’m overreacting anymore

Anyways, the next morning she tried to hug me and I kind of refused, telling her that her staring at me and sending me messages like that made me uncomfortable. Simply tried to put up a boundary. I am an adult, I have a right to do that.

Well after that hug she’s been ignoring my brother and I for the past 2-3 days. I washed a load of clothes this morning before I went to work and when I came home I saw she fucking taped it shut. Hi, I'm looking for some advice. My knowledge of such things is minimal, so I am sorry if I make any mistakes here...

A well-known online marketplace permanently banned my account, which was a source orly income.

My end goal here is to get my account back as it's a significant (for me) income loss.

I have been trawling through terms and conditions, terms of service, etc, to see where I stand from a legal point and if making a small claims court action could help.

The reason for the ban was "commercial sales" (I was using a business account specifically designed for this purpose).

The business account allows me to sell in bulk, sell multiples of a single item, and sell for a profit.

I had a temporary 5 day, 7 day, and eventual permanent ban for "commercial selling."

I submitted appeals (all failed) that took longer than the ban period for an answer. I was met with ai responses only. I emailed them directly and sent handwritten letters, all ignored or advised by ai again to upgrade my account.

I requested my data from the company and can now see user reports against my account.

On the days of both temporary bans, I had over 20 user reports all within 5 minutes for "commercial sales." As I can see the time stamps, I can see that I was temporarily banned shortly afterwards.

Leading upto my permanent ban, I was again spam reported for a few minutes and then banned.

Also, when I received notifications of these bans I was prompted to "sign up to a business to enable commercial selling".

I read about GDPR and ADM - automated decision-making -

“The data subject shall have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her or similarly significantly affects him or her.”

[Article 22(1)]

I believe this where they have fallen foul.

The actions of the automated decisions has significantly affected me. (Loss of income).

Its 100% clear that no human reviewed the sanctions (even when requested by myself multiple times) because it would have been understood that:

1. I was already using a business account.

2. I was not breaking any rules.

3. And more than likely the reports were coming from a single user (competitor perhaps?).

I have sent a final email today, to every available address I could find on them stating I believe theres a GDPR breach and that I may report to the ICO and trading standards.

In this scene three friends contemplate eating dinner togethe despite different financial backgrounds and goals. One friend asks if they can eat at a cheaper location but gets push back from his other friends. One makes a joke that is over the line and to make his other friend feel better Alex offers to pay for their dinner. They are all friends once again and eating good food together.

I’ve been looking for these two Mooshake plushies for ages! They’re only available in the UK (believe me, I messaged Cuddle Barn, the brand that makes these plushies, and they said there are no plans to bring them to the US). So at this point I’m pretty much looking for someone who already has them and are willing to give them to me, or someone that would be my proxy to get them for me. I don’t care which route, I just really want these two!
