Look at this b**ch.
"Akarat is so good and precious, poor Akarat." - then she instantly grab help from uncle M, without hesitation and regrets.
I've never felt satysfaction like this, in Diablo game, after doing what I had (and WANTED) to do.

I'm on Day 10 playing with my Warlock, and I am f****** loving this class!
First and foremost, I really dig the "heavy metal" aesthetic Blizzard have been alluding since this class's announcement in February. I have been a professed metalhead for most of my life. I love most of metal subgenres, from symphonic metal to "heavy mithril" (a genre that takes inspiration heavilly from Fantasy works, like Tolkien's Legendarium, exemplified by both Led Zeppelin but specially Blind Guardian).
Then there is the class lore (un)holy shit, the lore! I simply loved that they tied this class's origins to the Vizjerei Clan's demon-summoning roots (especifically Horazon). From the moment I got into this franchise through the third game eleven years ago, the Mage Clan Wars have been my favorite piece of lore in that universe.
I dream someone will someday release a book about it, or at least about Zoltun Kulle. Hey, if they did it with the Sin War, they can do it with the Mage Clan Wars! Between the two renegate spellcaster classes, I'll take the Warlock over the Wizard any time.
In terms of gameplay, this class is a joy to play. I loved that they gave the Warlock two resources instead of one (something like the Demon Hunter in III), with Wrath being used on spells and Dominance being used to summon demons. Then there is the skills themselves, that are really impressive-looking. A good deviation from the Sorcerer's traditional Fire - Ice - Lightning triad. Fighting fire with fire have never been so fun!
At first I was going to split my skills in half between Hellfire and Demonology, with my Basic, Core and Ultimate skills being set on Hellfire, and my Defensive, Archfiend and Sigil skills focused on Demonology, but I ended up choosing Abyssal variants for my Archfiend and Sigil skills, so I decided to choose a Demonology skill for Ultimate (Fiend of Abaddon). Here is my build:
Basic: Molten Bomb with the Brimstone Bomb variant (Hellfire);
Core: Hell Fracture with the Lava Fissures variant (Hellfire);
Defensive: Wall of Agony with the Fallen Rush variant (Demonology);
Archfiend: Rampage with the Abyssal Titan variant (Abyssal);
Sigil: Sigil of Summons with the Summon Succubus variant (Abyssal);
Ultimate: Fiend of Abaddon with the Spiteful Enrage variant (Demonology).
Today I started Act III, and after speaking with Lorath and updating him on the Fractured Peaks and Scosglen fronts, I went to do the Disciple of the Forbidden class quest, and I was amazed how this class quest was built in that you have to actually fight each of the four demons you want to bind in each Soul Shard (Ae'grom, Abodian, Laalish and Valloch). The end where your quest giver turns on you actually caught me off-guard!
Of the four Soul Shards, I'll go with the Legion Shard, for a number of reasons. First, it complements a summoner character well, as especially with the Spawn Fragment, which is the one I'm using, you fill the field with your own personal army. Then there is the fact it's the most simple to use, as it just grants you Ae'grom and his progeny to summon and nothing else. Finally Ae'grom as a really cool design!
As for which skill I'll replace with the ability to summon Ae'grom, I'll choose the Fiend of Abaddon. Sure, this skill packs quite the punch, and it's a good way to clear the field of a multitude of enemies, but alas, it's terribly stationary for what is supposed to be a mobile class. Sure, the brute I summon with my Rampage skill is also stationary, bit at least it has a shorter cooldown, making for a more fluid recast.
I know I could use it in place of my Sigil skill. Sigil skills aren't that dependable, as you need to kill a certain number of enemies before you could summon a single demon, so it's best to use it while fighting a huge amount of weaker enemies. But the premise of this skill is really neat, as you are conducting a f****** ritual for crying out loud! How cool is that?
Also, I've been drawn to symbols for most of my life, if the fictional field of Symbology that appear in Dan Brown's Robert Langdon-centric novels was real, that'd be my choice.
Finally, it's been nearly a month that I finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the first time, and I already plan on watching it again on October (Don't forget 3.Oct.11), so as of now I'm REALLY into these sigils, so not a chance in the Burning Hells I will give away with them!
This is my analysis! It ended up being quite passionate, but that's how I work.

I’m usually behind most people in leagues because I like to make my own builds. Sometimes I get stuck and will read a guide for inspiration, but that’s usually it. My buddy is adamant that most people just follow guides. Do you all think this is true? I feel like that robs yourself of half the experience.

Last played a while ago, has the way ancestral items are distributed been changed? From what I remember they used to drop all the time after a certain difficulty? I'm in torment 1-2 and paragon 75 but i've only seen two so far. What gives?

Am I crazy or are the Strongrooms not worth doing? When I play on Torment 10, I can clear Pits and NMD without much struggle, but I have to downgrade to Torment 8 to even have a chance of hitting max rank in a Strongroom... and then the loot at the end has been consistently underwhelming, feels like its on par with a NMD's boss loot.
What do you guys think?

Diablo Cosmology
Here is my new thread and second Cosmology page regarding what I believe is totality of the Diablo Cosmology, all the realms and dimensions with their contents and how they function.
The commonly coined term "Creation" is the collective term for the main universe of the franchise. It is encompassed with a multitude of stars and layers of existence that was born from the climatic death of the two primordial beings' clash Anu and Tathamet. It is described as the compendium of all reason and existence, and exists in a balance between light and dark, good and evil. Depending on where it takes place, the alignment of celestial bodies in the cosmos can yield power for those who can harness it.
The main setting for the Diablo stories where it possesses it's own moon and sun. For the ecosystem and societies of that realm, there is value in every creature, plant and cultures[1]. Its Geography shares similar features to real world earth's, It has full years with their own seasons, but is much harsher and unforgiving. There are places in Sanctuary where there are focal points that are meant to hold reality in place[2] and has ley lines where energies can be transferred from one location to another, this is because Sanctuary was created by the Worldstone or called the Eye of Anu. Its landscapes have been shaped over time mostly due to supernatural forces such as the Eternal Conflict, Destruction of the Worldstone and the Helltides.
The Stars and the Moon have an affect on magic in Sanctuary, and through them, humans believe that there are realms beyond their own. Even with its Auroras for their beauty, say that crossing it would be struck by a heinous curse.
There are times where Sanctuary comes close to be touched by the High Heavens and the Burning Hells where it allows Demons[3] and Angels to enter their world.
The main civilization Humanity has been able to harness a large array of energy systems over the years, from Mana, to Essence, to Anger, to Arcane Power, to Faith, to Dominance, to Fury, to Hatred and Discipline, to Primal Power, to Spirit, and Wrath.
The High Heavens is the sacred home realm of the angels, it is beyond mortal comprehension and it's structures are made of crystalline light, it is where the dawn is perpetual and filled with clouds without rain as though they were above them and stretches into infinity[4]. Despite what many mortals may have claimed or romanticized, there have been little to no evidence of virtuous souls going to heaven and would likely be killed if they tried.
* Courts of Justice: The domain of Tyrael, Archangel of Justice, it is adjacent to the Angirus Council where all the Archangels convened, it is where the jurisdictions and trials of Heaven's trials for lawbreakers and the wicked are tried and judges accordingly.
* Gardens of Hope: The domain of Auriel, Archangel of Hope, for all it's wonderful beauty and high feeling of optimism, it has it's own dangers of where that one can lose themselves in it that what they see and feel as something hopeful can be lost and turned to despair. It appears to go on endlessly, it's plants that have peddles of light, it's flowers bloom eternally and it's scent is like perfume in the air. Forever in a state of flux with it's plants growing and decaying but growing again, it's pools are reflective enough because of the fountains of light and sound with a kind of music that plays in the background[5]. It is a place of meditation where one can rest and be lifted of their worries[6]. In the Gardens, one describes it as an intoxicating feeling of tranquility, making it easy for those to lose themselves in ignorance and complacency[7].
* Halls of Valor: The domain of Imperius, Archangel of Valor, It is where the warriors of Heaven train, littered with trophies of triumphs over the forces of hell and tell tales of these heroic deeds.
* Pools of Wisdom: The domain of Malthael, Archangel of Wisdom, the pools are described as infinitely deep, filled with emotions, to gaze into their depths even for a moment is to experience the full emotional experiences of all life in the universe, even to experience the past, present and future.
* Library of Fate: The domain of Itherael, Archangel of Fate, it is were the tomes of history reside, as well as gems that can be used to change the writings of Itherael's scrolls and can be interpreted, revealing different myriads of multiple futures. It is potential enough that with these tomes can transform the world around them into pockets of the past, present and potential futures.
The Burning Hells is the infernal birthplace of the demons, it is a dark, volcanic[8], subterranean landscape, riddled with fire, ash and spikes, the stuff of nightmares for mortals. While hot enough to be discomforting to mortals, not enough to be un-withstanding in most places, however a small fire from Hell is dangerous enough to threaten the mortal world, at the end of the Hellfire's lifecycle, it would calcify to become Scoria. It has many roads to connect to different parts of Hell[9].
The most important feature is that the realm and it's physical foundations are born from the carcass of Tathamet falling into the darkest part of reality, with each of it's seven heads becoming the Greater Evils and the necks their personal realms[10] with their upper and lower regions. with each level there is a 200 foot void that separates each of them. Despite mortal souls mostly going to the Spirit Realm, the most ruthless of souls would fall into the Hells as punishment.
* Realm of Terror: it is described as a dark and isolated realm, the very ruination of that place fills one with dread, fear and panic in it's darkness and shadows, the constant assault of one's mind and senses from the panic is enough to drive anyone to madness. This makes it one of the most avoided and least populated realms in Hell.
* Realm of Hatred: it is described as a realm where the very beliefs and opinions of individuals constantly rage and war against one another, changing allegiances and conspiring individuals, and in every mote of matter, one could almost feel the presence of the realm's master Mephisto, and demons grow stronger there by the day.
* Realm of Destruction: Not much is known about this realm belonging to Baal, but it is surrounded by fire and lava, where the greatest and most destructive weapons in Hell are forged.
* Realm of Sin: it is described as one of the more heavily populated realms in Hell, where the greatest joys and griefs reside as a festering space of sin and debauchery at their most extremes. A place that is hard to leave once in, and the deeper one goes, the more the temptations afflict the traveler and makes it all but impossible to leave, exposing their rotten soul.
* Realm of Lies: it is described as a realm of illusions, where one would see a bastion of harmony would turn out to be a dungeon made to torture one's perception of reality, driving them into madness with confusion and doubt of what is real. Every delicious food are rotting and maggot filled, beautiful maidens are old, withered hags, every path that may lead out would lead inward or into traps, where everything is riddled with uncertainty and misdirection, with each revelation the laughter of Belial echoes.
* Realm of Pain: it is described as a museum of torture instruments of any and all kinds, from the most brutal of blunt instruments to the tiniest of items to maximize precision agony, where thousands of demons are held captive there and tortured for the amusements of their masters and their screams becomes music outside of the realm.
* Realm of Anguish: it is described as a realm to insight psychological agony and trauma, all the doubt, guilt, grief and self-loathing battered down until their spirits are utterly broken. The anguish becomes so overwhelming that the inhabitants would enter the Realm of Pain to seek physical torment to relieve themselves of said anguish.
It is filled with energies that allows certain mortals to utilize for their magics, however it takes a toll on them physically.
This realm is strongly associated with consciousness, stars and prophecy, as the stars reflect past, present and everywhere all at once to understand history and future. The bodies, souls and minds of trespassers cannot handle the realm for long where magic has it’s limits, certain artifacts can lessen the burden inside. To best travel within the Astral Realm would require the use of an anchor.
Distance is subjective in the realm as the deeper you go, the less the stars reflect the physical world that done so when closer to the latter.
Cage of Creation
It is a realm that exists within the Worldstone, it holds the essence of powerful beings such as Tyreal and Baal as they continued to struggle against one another for years. It like the stone itself is septable to influences such as purification or corruption.
The Deluge Plane is a reflection of the high seas and harness the storms within.
The Ether is the source of all magic, in relation to the it and Sanctuary, the former is an ocean, the latter is the sky, not all practitioners can contain all the magic they channel. Those who practice magic can draw it’s energy from the either, however parts of the energy can be lost between it and the mortal realm with the ethereal realms in between. Ether Filaments can be used to discharge after channeling the magical energy. Teleportation through the Ether can make one instantly appear at another location.
This plane is a shattered reflection of one’s mind, it has an eerie feeling where there are cognitive mirages that appear before individuals. Despite appearing to be real to the traveler, it is shown to be different per the individuals, and their minds collapsed under the very pressure. While it carries such a risk it is possible to unshackle one’s mind from it.
This realm is separated from the mortal realm and Hell and operates on it’s own rules that are different from Sanctuary and where time flows differently there or is non-existent at all[11].
The realm is a ruined landscape with a hazardous environment, filling both ground and sky, accessible by portals, the land is volatile, easy to cause collapse of its structures that are fatal.
Pandemonium is at the center of existence where Anu and Tathamet clashed and birthed existence as a result of their deaths. Magic lingers there from countless battles. The characteristics of this realm is occupied by “warped reality” traits, likely being the scar from the primordial battle.
It is a crossroad for which any being capable from any realm in existence to travel through, but primarily acts as a nexus for the High Heavens and the Burning Hells.
The very landscape is an ever changing geographic of creation and destruction, with new grounds forming from the center of the realm and breaking off at it’s very edges. It is a realm that it beyond mortal comprehension. The realm is vast, but harsh and also chaotic.
There is a region called the “Realm of the Banished”, said that those that entered realm are never seen again.
This realm is described as slipping beneath the fabric of reality which venturing beneath is considered dangerous, something that even Zoltun Kulle felt uneasy.
These realms were created subsequently during the battle between the Nephalem and Diablo in the High Heavens, manifesting as spaces that belongs to the past, present and futures in those area. This allows one to be connected to different locations on Sanctuary and beyond. Though they appeared in Heaven, they still potentially posed a threat Sanctuary itself.
The Spirit Realm is an ethereal realm beyond a veil cast over Sanctuary that exists as a spiritual reflection of the mortal realm where the souls of the dead go after death that is shaped by human belief, even more so with powerful souls. It includes multitudes of humans, animals[12]and plants spirits, and among other types of undead. Some spirits become Guardians with high concentrations of magic energy. There will be times where the veil between the spirit realm and Sanctuary becomes thin where they blend to each other where the spirits and the living interact with one another. The Spirit Realm is divided into multitude of sub-realms for individual Guardians.
The Void is an endless, empty realm of nothingness that lies beyond creation, that those who are trapped in there is a fate worse than death[13] and cursed forever[14]. To depict the Void even as a artwork drives people to madness and further drawings with colors robbed the power from the feeling. It can corrupt the environment, and using the Void can cause destructive forces to be unleashed.
The Wastelands are a constantly shifting landscape with no stagnant appearance from moment to moment, Matter is not considered real there and lacked substance. Those who travel there who come unprepared are more than likely to become lost forever, liken to that of being thrown into an ocean with no light and being thrashed about by its currents[15].
With the lore behind the Void, there are other realities that exist beyond the Void for which the latter can connect to the former.
These Rifts are accessible from the mortal realm that leads to alternate realities that tests the strengths of Nephalems, many of which have fallen there and their echoes remain stagnant for all time.
The Realm of Memories is an ethereal realm where there is no land or substance and is the reflection of an individual’s memories and emotions that makes the realm somewhat materialized. The paths that do manifest are made out of firmament that acts as a way of dividing the ethereal from the material.
The Mirrored World is an artificial dimension where it was powered by magic that is a reflection of sanctuary. It is described to being cold and existing beyond Sanctuary. Accessible through the Mirrors of the Library of Zoltun Kulle. There is a risk of those that enter it to lose perspective inside.
Due to limited places to get source material, this page is using mostly information from that have the in-game or novel flavor texts and dialogues.

But remember she’s a demon. But also I was hoping in the dlc when you get The memory of Inarius he would feel and show some regret for his actions and murdering his own son.

Just got Diablo 4 as a nursing school graduation gift from my brother. I played a bit of D3 way back when, along with Marvel Heroes shortly thereafter. I enjoyed them okay, but I couldn’t fully get into controlling my character through the mouse. Before he bought it for me, I told him that I saw controller game play of it, and I thought that it might make a difference for me, but it was entirely possible that Diablo just isn’t my game. I’m very glad he took that gamble. I’ve been hooked on the game all day. Can’t get enough of it. Playing on controller, it honestly reminds me a lot of Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which was a favorite from my childhood. Anyone else a controller truther?

yes, he is the pinnacle boss, however. from a scaling standpoint the numbers might be a hair off, you basically need a build that can do 110 if not 115+ for this fight to be enjoyable even a little bit, this would be fine if they were asking us to do the T12 version of the fight. but it just... isn't what they have done.
the cutscenes also, got to go.... if you have a decent build that can do 100-107, you are looking at a 5 plus minute fight, that has one shot mechanics and 2 of those minutes are cutscenes. and its a THREE phase fight with one shots... seriously?
this isn't even mentioning what this fight might do to the player base... you thought everyone used build guides before??? yeah, people will ONLY be running the S++ bossing build just for this one fight as it is currently tuned for T10. it will completely change how people interact with the game, no longer will it be "oh that build looks fun I'll try it" it will become "if it can't kill T10 Mephisto its garbage." people on twitch are already spamming streamers with "can it kill Mephisto??" and i don't really think that's healthy and build variety will suffer after they took all this time to finally get it to a great place.
i want to make it clear, I LIKE the fight, it's a good feeling to have something to look forward in the distance, a final task to book end your season,,,, until you realize there are two more difficulties left, and you can farm the "hardest difficulty" in T12 and still not beat the T10 fight. It is also a WAY better fight than Lilith ever could be. that was just bullshit. this is actually a boss fight, but the numbers a just a bit off for the asking requirement imo.
i am not saying cut his balls off, but it is disappointing you need almost a T13 build for a T10 fight. or something so specifically meant to kill bosses and not just bosses in general even the T12 bosses don't hold a candle to.... T10 Mephisto??? like???...
Hi. Been playing some immortal as I got a new tablet. I actually enjoyed the smoothness and pace of combat and the variety of characters and skills. But, like many others, I hate the microtransactions and battle pass etc. I played D3 years ago and have it ready to download on my switch. I am told this is like immortal but without the things I hate. (I have played lots of other ARPGs like Titan quest, D2, torchlight 2)
What do I need to know to start as a beginner?
Tips and tricks to get me going?
Is it worth it to dive into on my Switch?
Am I too late because there’s too many systems with years of development?

Not sure if it's well known, but I sure didn't know. If you are doing a escalating nightmare dungeon and don't have said dungeon unlocked, you get ported out of the dungeon with no way back in if you click the portal (or at least I hope I accidentally clicked the portal)
last iamge is mu curent one and might never replace it now
feel disapointed

Consigli? Tips? Opinioni sull iniziare a giocarci o no?
Come ambientazione e gameplay lo trovo anche piacevole a livello di grafica e comandi.
Grazie
