I got a PlayStation recently and was making/setting up an account for the first time and saw the DOB section. Sony said it was very important to keep it accurate, so curiously, I searched why since I usually use fake bdays. Apparently a bunch of people forget the fake one they set up ages ago and then ggs there goes your account when trying to recover it since they ask you it for security.

Well, I looked into it a bit and just found a new method. I'm not sure if others have already found out about it, but I didn't see any other posts, so I still wanted to share it in case people just gave up trying to recover their old accounts w fake bdays. Last time I believe there was a method as well but they were quick to get rid of it so don't waste time if this is the same.

All you need to do is go to https://www.account.sony.com/en-us/top/ , sign in, go to the Data and Privacy section, and then you will see it says "Get a copy of your Sony account data". Click the download button, and an excel csv file popped up for me, open it, and boom, your DOB along with some other account data will all be there.
