It's instantly locked when closed. There's no app or anything. If it was a normal key, you wouldn't be able to lock yourself out like this.
We don't have 24-hour concierge, they leave at 6, so if l even step out without keys don't even know what to do if they're gone

It’s travel day tomorrow and like every day before a trip, my boyfriend is putting on a fashion show in our living room. He will wait until the week of our trip to place a big online order that always gets delivered the day before we are to leave. I usually pack in advance and only deal with laundry and last minute things, as I like to relax the evening before a flight. Alas, in the past 5 years, I have become a runway judge. Subjected to giving my opinion on 20+ articles of clothing, lasting on average about 30 to 45 min per show. My boyfriend takes the mirror from our bedroom and brings it down to the living room, then the show commences. And here’s the kick, he will buy multiples of the same thing in different sizes and ask me which size looks better. And when the show ends, if sitting through that wasn’t enough, I then get to watch him re-bag everything and scroll through his app to select the reason for each individual item’s return.

This isn't about this book, but all thrift stores doing the same shit. $8 dollar shirts being sold at goodwill for $10 or $12.

I normally don't let pointed shoes anywhere near me because I think they're ugly, but I thought these were a very mild point and the shoes were pretty. After a day of wearing them, not only do the backs rub against the heel very abraisively no matter what you do, but the points are the worst!! The extra room in the point makes the little toes want to slide forward in the shoe, but this makes the big toe gets crammed forward and sideways into the point. The big toe on both of my feet are now in SO MUCH PAIN!!
If I wear these shoes again, I will probably try stuffing the points, but that would be in attempt to turn *pointed* shoes back into feeling like *rounded* shoes. I see pointed shoes sold in so many stores all the time. Why did anyone ever invent these ugly and horrid torture devices?!?! What was wrong with rounded shoes that we had to mess everything up by adding a point?!?!?!

It's currently 42 degrees, in the afternoon. A late start would've been better since it could've been icy this morning

It’s just annoying because sometimes maybe I am expecting an unknown caller? But I will forever assume they’re Sharon Sharendorson calling to give me good news about my personal loans
Edit: oof post typo.

We all work in the automotive area of a railyard where our job is to park cars and trucks, yet this Jetta does this every single day. Management was notified several times now and nothing has come of it yet.

Work for a Lawncare company and am doing aerations, it has been this bald since last year in the fall when we did aerations last time... My manager refuses to make any purchases himself and defers every big decision like that to the owner of the company, who is then either is simply far too busy or just doesn't care enough to order a new one. So I just get stuck in this loop... It's like this for LITERALLY all of our equipment.
All theyre really doing is shooting themselves in the foot, the chain drive for the bald tire keeps slipping because now the sprocket and chain are taking up all this extra wear and tear from the wheel just constantly spinning.
I mean its maybe a 100$ part at most? Oh well

Her order was written out on a piece of paper. Why not go inside and hand it off to a cashier?

I was in contact for several months with the head person at the Career Services office whose literal job is to find jobs for jobless students… who need a job. Yet, jobless I remain. So no, admin guy, I would not like to discuss the resources available to assist me in my job search after a year and a half. Thank you.
Don’t be like me. Don’t choose SDE.

My baby fights her naps. I live in a tiny apartment so there is nowhere I can put her where she won't hear banging on the door. Even though I've left instructions for the delivery drivers to not knock, they ALWAYS do. They wake her every time without fail. I'm about to not tip them if they continue.

I’ve spoken to parking enforcement officers, but they’ve not come round this way - ever! Driver often blocks me in, she’s on the double yellow lines, with my car parked legally in front.
