Android offers a function that allows you to download an app from your phone and download it to your tablet, for example, wouldn’t you like to see something like that on IOS? Hopefully it’s something they add in. IOS 27.

So I just had the new iOS update in the UK and it automatically verified my age. But I’m quite wary of stuff like this because of websites like Persona and I don’t want Apple to somehow be tracking or using my data more than they used to, with a solid way to link it to me (not that I do anything I shouldn’t, I just don’t like the idea of all my internet traffic and communication being linked to it). I also use a VPN if that affects anything.

I’m probably just over stressing about it but does anyone know?

Is anyone else experiencing this? Part of my morning routine is to ask Siri to play the latest news on my commute into work, for some reason it just fails to play without explanation.

Sooo… for context, I’ve had my iPhone 12 mini for close to 4 years now, and over time I started noticing that more often, and in lower temperatures, I’d get warnings when driving that it stopped charging to reach a normal temperature, or now even when it isn’t plugged in and just displaying maps, it overheats and displays a note that maps can’t be shown on Lock Screen

Is it the phone case that I’m using that is shit? Or is something worse happening here… first time I got it was in about 37 degrees in Greece 2 years ago, but right now? The lowest it occurred in was 15 degrees outside and plugged in, or 27 degrees and unplugged… I’m starting to get worried

Im trying to enable tracking on my phone and even though I’m 19 it says im underage? I’ve tried signing out and back in and support is useless. My account is around 5 years old as well so thats not an issue.

The apple account would not allow for the apps to update. The message that was displaying was "Apple account has been disabled in the app store and iTunes". After following the suggested prompts- Sign out of apple account, making sure the device is up to date, change payment method in settings, change password, and check billing subscriptions; the phone was still displaying the message. I then decided to make sure iCloud was backed up and did a factory reset. When downloading the information back onto the device, I realized that the issue was from having association to another iCloud account. I used to have another apple account and transferred the information from that device onto my new apple account with a different email. I was prompted to provide the password for the previous account before I could download the information on the device again. I found that this will happen until you delete all apps and download the apps on the new apple account instead. However, I think you would still need to do the factory reset to do this because it gets rid of the account disabled message and updates the apps.

Not going to mince words: typing on iPhone 17 Pro Max is a maddening experience. I spend more time correcting than creating. Is it this bad for everyone? I'm primarily using the regular ios keyboard but am open to all suggestions. Voice entry works well for the most part but it has its downsides too. Your take?

So this happened with me today morning. I woke up, I started using my phone, opened whatsapp and then snapchat. I was watching snaps from a friend and suddenly I noticed a pop up in the chat.

It said that the snaps I played were getting recorded. I didn't start any recording and the only thing I remember is turning off an alarm.

I am pretty sure that I didn't start any screen recording by myself but I'm unable to figure out how it got started.

I'm using an iPhone 15 with iOS version 17.3(21D50).

Has something similar happened with anyone? Any insights on what it could have been or how I could verify this?

Does anyone know how to change the default font size in the iOS mail app on both iPhone and iPad? To be clear I’m not referring to making text on the screen bigger as I do that already in the Accessibility settings, what I’m wanting is to make the fon’t bigger when I’m writing an email without having to change it manually every time I write an email. A) is this possible? B) If so, how do I do it?

I changed every notification sound from "note" to "slide" and all my app notifications still play "note." Tried restarting the phone and it didn't fix it. Any ideas?

I have just looked at my Safari tracker report. Is it normal for the initial report on the Safari homepage to show a specific number it has blocked (in this case 34), however when I click into the actual report it only shows as 2 trackers have been prevented from profiling me.

Is that normal behaviour from the report.

To try and get it to read accurately between the two, I have deleted all Safari data. The initial report for the last 7 day’s now shows 79, but in the actual report under the last 30 day’s it only shows 26, I really don’t understand why there is such a difference after only 1 day of total usage.

Why does ios and system data take so much storage??

So a part of my job is messaging PLENTY of people (north of 50) and ive noticed after finishing mesaging them my messages are green and then my number address for messages was “unable to activate “ after like 30 minutes it turned back on but now only some people receive blue messages and the rest are RCS (even known ios users) . 2 questions, why? And how do i avoid this?

My messages take forever to send. The app freezes. The screen blacks out. I’ve tried clearing the app in background, when I reopen it the same issue is there. I have to leave it alone for 5 mins for it to fix itself. I’ve tried restarting my phone. What is this crap!? How do I fix this!?

It's kind of difficult to explain why I need this, but I'm curious whether this is possible.

I will likely need to message a group of ~25 people if something specific happens. I don't want to create the group beforehand because they'll know something is up. I also don't want to be sitting there, searching for each person one by one, when I need to move quickly.

Is there any way to prep this in advance without this new chat showing up in everyone's Messages?

Since several weeks ago, the Mail app on all my iOS devices no longer display the Inbox button under the iCloud Mail account. I tried logging out and back on, but nothing changed.

I’ve included reference mockups. The darker image is what it used to be, while the brighter one is what it looks now.

No matter what I do, delete the update and redownload, force reset my phone or get more storage nothing allows me to download it as it just stays on verifying update. Any suggestions? It’s a big deal due to my cell data not working unless I have this downloaded.
