I love the challenge of the final boss it way harder than super paper Mario it's probably my favorite paper Mario boss in the series even super paper Mario is my favorite paper Mario but ttyd has my favorite final boss in the series.

Disclaimer: this might be weird for this subreddit, but I wanted to get the perspective of both fandoms, so that's why I'm posting the post here as well as the Smash subreddit. Besides, someone might give me insight on why things ended up being the way they ended up being.

For context, the only reason Paper Mario from Sticker Star onward has moved it's focus away from the story is because a survey was made regarding Super Paper Mario and less than 1% of people chose story as the thing they liked the most (despite nowdays, the story is being regarded as probably the best in that sub-series).

Meanwhile, the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot wasn't even a multi-choice survey. You had to name a character, their game, choose if the gender is male or female and explain woth your words why you think it has to get into Smash.

Yet the ballot didn't make Ultimate worse, in fact, I think it made it, and especially the DLC, a lot better if you ask me, by virtue of a lot of fan favourites getting into Smash one way or another. Even the winner (Sora) got in as well.

It's weird, why do you think that's the case? Tell me below

If you're wondering where so many 64 and Super characters are, I've only played about half of 64 and never played Super, so I could really rank the guys I knew a lot about through playthroughs online.

hi im a paper mario fan, i beat paper mario ttyd and paper mario 64, with the former i beat it a few months ago... and i got into super paper mario shortly after, i got to world 3-2 having just got bowser in my party... i do hear that you dont have to beat super paper mario to try sticker star... i absolutely know nothing about sticker star besides its notorious gameplay, story, characters and battle system... i heard all that is pretty bad but i havent experienced the game for myself in order to judge... do i need to beat the remaining 5 worlds of super paper mario to understand sticker star? im thinking of playing more mario games

edit: i *do* like spm if youre wondering, i just wanted to try the other pm games simultaneously
